My college aged son and I stayed in Chantarelle for 4 days, and could NOT have been more pleased. This was a "relaxing, de-stressing" trip and i truly wish we had more time. The cabin was just as it is pictured and more. There were so many extra amenities available for us, from Charcoal for the grill, detergent for the kitchen sink, dishwasher and laundry unit - as well as an abundance of hygiene product samples in the bathroom. The double porches were wonderful, it was truly peaceful and relaxing. There were 3 TV's all with cable, WIFI, and really just anything you could need. I told my son - the only thing missing was someone to come in a cook our meals for us! But seriously, it is a great place to get away and very close to Asheville and all its activities. Do yourself a favor - book this place - you WON'T regret it!

Amazing stay, very nice house and only short trip into town.

We had a wonderful vacation at Laurel Mountain Retreat. The cabin was just as described and we felt cozy and at home while we were there. Our kids loved the fireplace and enjoyed sleeping in the loft. Would definitely stay again!
