Base Case used Launchboom to help us break into the crowdfunding world and I would give them an A+. I was initially referred to them from a friend, I had not ever heard of LB before. When I got in touch, they were very responsive and had an intro call setup really fast. At first I was looking for someone to do a majority of the work because I had a full time and very demanding career. What I quickly learned from them is that they don't do the work for you, but provide a detailed step by step guide / workshop that assists you along the journey. It forces you to really dig in and learn your product and learn the basics of building a funnel, creating content for ads, setting up your meta pixel, learning how to understand what is a good ad. I learned a ton going through the process and am grateful for the structure they have. LB has weekly calls that you can join to go through your campaign and are very responsive if you have questions. I would recommend the LB team to anyone starting out their crowdfunding journey. I'm happy to say that we started the process in September 2024, launched our campaign in February 2025, crushed our goal on Indiegogo, and are now starting production and will be fulfilling our products in January 2026. It's been a long process, but very rewarding and I have to thank the LB team for getting us started on the right path.

We just wrapped our second Kickstarter campaign at $309K raised, and working with Launchboom was a huge part of that success. From day one, everything was extremely organized and clear. Yes, it is a significant upfront investment, but I was able to split it into 12 payments with Affirm, and I fully understand why the cost is what it is. You are not just paying for “homework”, you are paying for a proven system, real expertise, and a team that actually shows up for you. As a solo founder (with severe ADHD…), the structured, week by week playbook and Launchboom’s very scientific strategy were game changing. My advisor Soren met with me about twice a week, consistently keeping me focused on the right tasks at the right time. He always provided the guidance I needed at each stage, which added up to success after success. Mark also gave an incredibly helpful “roast” of my Kickstarter that helped architect the whole “boom!” system we used. The community of other crowdfunding creators is invaluable, and from the beginning Launchboom set clear expectations around ad spend, prelaunch timeline, required creatives, and copy based on real performance data. It completely removed the “you do not know what you do not know” factor and dramatically reduced risk, especially for someone doing this largely alone. If you make even a half decent effort to ask questions, schedule calls, request intros, and use the resources they provide, the team will go above and beyond to support you. For anyone serious about launching a product the right way, I highly recommend Launchboom.

Negative experience. Expensive. No results.

We found LaunchBoom just before we were due to launch on Kickstarter and lucky we did. We were going to just launch and hope that people found us, sadly, those days are gone and we are in no doubt that our campaign would have flopped. Their turn-key funnel software alone is worth the fee - it saved us a lot of development time and we got help with every step of using it. LaunchBoom taught us so much about building a fanbase, advertising on meta and how to tell if we were on track before we blew through too much money. It was a steep learning curve but the support we got was extremely good. Aside from the consultancy they offer, they have an online community of other creators which was also extremely useful. Just being able to bounce ideas off other people who have been in exactly the same boat as you, really helps to get a clear understanding of whether you're on track or not. Ultimately our campaign was a success, hitting our funding goal in 16 minutes and raising just over $1/4m over the course of the 4 week campaign. We're now in production and the future of SomniBuds is bright.

Update Dec 09: I requested Trustpilot the option to verify my experience, and sent invoice and email communication. Update Dec 08: I can provide invoices, email communication, and much more to anyone who requires it, including Trustpilot. However, Launchboom has to initiate this requirement. The fact that they do not shows that they are hiding. They pretend that all their negative reviews, with some exceptions, are fake. But they are not. Many of their positive reviews are fake. When working with Launchboom you have a +70% change you will fail with your campaign and lose your money. Working with LaunchBoom looked promising at first, but the experience fell short once we got into the actual process. They talk a lot about systems and strategy, yet most of what they delivered felt generic and required a lot more work on my side than expected. The guidance was surface level, the ads never really clicked, and the “support” felt more like being pointed to templates than getting real help. They position themselves as experts who will elevate your launch, but unless you already have strong product market fit, a big budget, and plenty of time to fill in the gaps yourself, the results won’t match the expectations they set. I walked away feeling like I paid for a framework, not a partner. I wouldn’t choose them again. And a personal observation: every time someone posts something negative about them, suddenly a handful of glowing comments appear out of nowhere. I noticed it, and so did plenty of other customers. Their real success rate sits well under what they claim, even lower than the average Kickstarter success rate.

Before launching my latest Kickstarter, I knew I needed to give my campaign every possible advantage. By the end of the campaign we were doing $30k-$35k/day, with a 30-day average of $29k/day, and peaks hitting $46k/day. That kind of consistency is rare on Kickstarter. Of course, it wasn’t all LaunchBoom - but they were the foundation. They pointed me to the right partners, highlighted gaps I couldn’t see from the inside, and gave me the strategic roadmap I needed. For example, they connected me with Jellop, the ad agency that took what we built and laser-targeted the perfect audience to unlock incredible results. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with what LaunchBoom provided. They give you the tools, the knowledge, and the guidance - but they don’t replace what really matters: having a great product that the Kickstarter community actually wants. Like any good consultancy, they’re not there to “polish turds” or do the work for you. They show you exactly what to do and how to do it, but it’s up to you to execute and produce the results. If you’re serious about building a strong Kickstarter campaign and want a team that actually knows what they’re doing, LaunchBoom is absolutely worth it. FYI: We worked together for about a year, which is another great advantage of LaunchBoom’s model. There’s no expiry and no monthly payments - just a single upfront fee at the beginning, and you get ongoing access and support for as long as you need it.
