I'm upset. Laser hair removal costs a lot of money. I don't make a lot of money, so it was a big investment for me to purchase a large hair removal package that includes laser treatments on my underarms, legs, feet, and brazilian. After my first appointment I was very impressed- LaserAway has great customer service, and it was apparent after only one session that I was having great results. My hair grew back thinner and slower. HOWEVER, I was disappointed and confused that after my next 3 visits I didn't notice ANY results. If anything, all the hair loss I experienced after my first treatment had all grown back. When I brought this up with the nurses treating me, I received responses that made very little sense..."the first treatment was probably a shock to your hair follicle, and now it's used to it, which is why you had such great results at first, but now they don't seem as drastic" or "that's strange, I've never heard of that happening." I asked one nurse if the laser power might need to be turned up, and asked how the settings work, to which she replied, "It's complicated." On my fourth appointment I was frustrated and brought it up again. The nurse admitted to me that she hates that they are required to use"summer settings" that use less power. This blew my mind. I understand the dangers of lasering tan or sunburned skin, but those dangers did not apply to me. Not only did I rarely expose my legs to sunlight this summer, but each time I was careful to use a generous amount of sunscreen. I was not tan. I did not get sunburned. My suspicions of an unnecessary and ineffective low laser setting seemed to be true. After one "fall session", I noticed progress again. I feel like I was ripped off and I was definitely lied to. If I had known about the low summer settings, I would of held off on treatment until the fall.

Treatments are much easier than I thought. I like the easy scheduling options.

I wish I'd known about Laseraway sooner! It's changed my life I'm not sure what else to say. I hate waxing and I just finished my sessions and couldn't be happier with the results.

Hello reviewers, i would like to start off by saying thank you staff and nurses at laser away. You all were so very kind and helpful. You made the laser experience comfortable and easy process. To those of you who maybe interested listen up. What you pay doesnt mean what you get.. Lasering is very expensive for treatements $$$$$ is very accurate. You may or may not see reduction right away. For me i didnt see start seeing results after multiple sessions. Everyone is different. However, the results speak for themselves. If you have questions, ask them.. dont hesitate, Its your body. I will continue to refer friends and family to Laser Away. Im happy and pleased with my results.

I have not been to Laser Away for laser hair removal, but rather for treatments aimed to improving the appearance of my skin. I find that everyone at the Sherman Oaks Laser Away is extremely knowledgeable and professional. The results have always met or surpassed my expectations.

If you are considering thermage for your abdomen area, it is a waste of money with no real visible result

The past couple of times I scheduled an appointment, the scheduler has given misinformation about when to arrive for my appointment for my tattoo removal. I always ask if the time includes the numbing cream, am told yes - only to find out when I arrive that it did not. Very frustrating.
