One of the worst companies you can work…
One of the worst companies you can work with, I was an interpreter with them. They don't even care about you, not even the slightest bit. They will recruit you with lofty promises that within 6 months you will reach this or that position and be so successful yet you will see non of it for years. They wont even give you a 1$ raise after year of work. Worked here almost 2 years. They have nothing but a complete waste of time and your potential for you in exchange for weekly pay check that you can make more of while working at tims. Their whole business model runs because they are literally exploiting immigrants and newcomers. There are zero benefits working here and don't expect anything. You will use your equipment at your own expense ( wifi, Computer or smartphone, headset ) they wont provide you with nothing but a piece of cheap junk doodle board for you to take note which you can buy on amazon for 5$. Lately they have sent email to everyone that their contract with language line requires more of virtual interpreters while the pay is much more for virtual interpreters but they will pay you just enough to live around 18$ per hour same pay as your over the phone. The call volume and truma you will get by listening to others issues are immense. They boast about mental support but I saw none in my tenure working with them. If you do have to work here to make some money or love remote interpretation job, please don't expect anything but your weekly pay which is less than someone working at timmis and if you have other options then by all means follow those option and not this.
