Web Site Had Problems; Abysmal Customer Service; Almost Lost a Tenant
My prospective tenant received the e-mail so she could confirm/approve processing of her application. She filled in the form and tried to submit it, but it was rejected by Landlord Station's server with a cryptic error message that didn't really say what the problem was (how often we see that on web sites in general = sad). She called Landlord Station's toll-free help number during normal business hours and could only leave a voice-mail. No one called back. The situation was only resolved the next day, after I intervened and sent a stern message to Landlord Station. Overall, my experience was a glitchy web site with poor error handling, and abysmal customer service. I believe I deserve a full refund of the money paid. I almost lost a good tenant.
Response from LandlordStationJul 5, 2019
Hi, Elliot! I'm sorry that you had trouble with this order. According to the email logs I show that you reached out to us after the close of business and one of our representatives contacted you the next morning to let you know that a phone number had not been correctly provided when you input the information for the property. It looks like that was what was causing the error. He was able to resolve that on our end for you and resent the link. We do provide limited phone support, so I'm sorry if your applicant was unable to reach us. I do not show that we received a voicemail from her. We do our best to return phone calls within the same business day, but if you or your applicants ever need a quicker response you may reach us at [email protected] If you have any further questions please let us know! We're happy to help in any way that we can.
