Initial glasses were the best, then the next crowdfunded, then the air's (screws got loose), bu the customer service has always been non-existent, and now they don't even have a functioning website?! Thay just continue to create new campaigns leaving old supporters behind?!

The glasses look terrific but sadly I can’t use them as the prescription seems incorrect & I can’t see with them. I ordered multifocals & I suspect the lenses may have been fitted upside down! Postscript: Thanks to Lance for reaching out & agreeing to replace the lenses upon provision of a review by my optometrist confirming issue.

Hi @Rohini, We are very sorry to hear that and be sure we are going to solve that together. Please note that mistakes at the fitting can occur and they extremely rare. 99% of the prescription mistakes we solve come from a misfiling of the form. Also, we do not have any email/message or ticket submitted to solve that issue. 1. Compare the parameters you filled in with your original prescription and the order confirmation email you have received after filling your survey ( pay attention to the signs +/-) 2. If the numbers are the same, and the signs too. Then we made a mistake and we ll replace your lenses in no time 3. If you see a mistake, then get in touch with our CS team to figure out a solution. Update: I received my glasses finally, and the quality seems good. I have improved the score from 1 to 3 stars and it seems that this is not a scam operation. Still incredibly slow with poor customer service. Old review: Be warned - these guys are scammers. I ordered two pairs in the Indie GoGo campaign. They first look pretty affordable but when you want prescription lenses you have to pay much more (only after making the first payment). Then they came with another ransom of $25 to ship them without delay once they were apparently ready - mind you that shipping was included in the first payment. I stopped paying at that point and they continue to say that the shipping is delayed due to increased costs.

@Janne. Thank you for taking time writing a review. Your feedback matter to us. A short explanation : The prescription is included in the price, you can of course opt for option for thinning , blue light for your photochromic, etc... It is very important that you take reference with the price you would pay for the same pair at your regular optician. Regarding the shipping : We asked you if you wish to get your parcel faster so we can opt for a courier such as DHL. Or wait for the prices to come back to normal ( the price you paid )as you will understand that a startup can't absorb the sudden price increasing imposed by courier companies in the COVID period. This is only for the campaign. For the E-shop, we signed a contract with UPS directly from our Laboratory that ensure the delivery between 48H and 72hours once your pair is produced. Update: After almost a year of waiting the customer support finally came through with a solution and offered me a chance to order the 2 glasses again. They arrived now and a really nice. Glasses are 5 stars, but with everything that happened before 3 stars are the maximum. If delivery and delay problems are gone now, the glasses are recommandable. This does not even deserve 1 Star. Look at their crowdfunding campaigns. So Many people are still waiting on their products and the support by them is a joke. Buy from one of the many other shops online, but not this one if you actually want to receive glasses! I was told my glasses are shipped, but they never arrived. The only real "help" by the support was giving me the Email + phone number of the delivery service that i already got online. Would have loved to try the glasses, but i seems nothing will ever arrive. (1st parcel of my life that wasn't delivered in Germany) Edit to response: Yes, the tracking says it was delivered. But as explained in the ticket i have on your website (last answer was 2 months ago), i was on holidays during that time and it was not delivered, nor did they leave a note or anything. Contacting SFExpress resulted in nothing, since they just do not bother to answer to anything. I do not even know if they have their people delivering in Germany, or use a different provider...

Just received my lance glasses in the mail. Ordered via Indiegogo. Smart metal hausmman in matte paladium appearance wise looks very disappointingly very thin, cheapish and plasticky. And doesn't give good feel to touch- feels frail and plasticky. Will see in a few weeks how does it stand up to normal use. I woukd rate it 2.5 stars. Opera in glossy black looks and feels better but a creaky hinge makes me give it max 4 stars. Buying experience, not confidence in handling updates from lance. 3 stars overall.

I thought my 2 pairs of glasses, one metal the other acetate, were very attractive. In fact, when walking into my nearby grocery store I received a very nice compliment for the acetate pair (kinda like a mist green color). The fit of both pairs was very good and looked good with the shape of my face, never got a chance to use their app. One of these days I hope someone will invent a system to keep glasses from sliding down one's nose, oh well I can dream. The quality of the lens in the acetate pair was outstanding, flawless but the metal pair had the lens coatings as wavy. Didn't notice at first, no headaches, no focus problems just sometimes hard to find the right spot. Thought about sending the metal pair back for a new lense replacement but remembered the wait time to receive the glasses. I really liked my glasses but the extreme wait time will most likely send me else were. How correspondence with Lance seemed to be timely. I wish the company the best.

Great and stylish glasses! Some issues with an ill fitting sunclip and no responses from customer support. Eventually resolved after months by filing a PayPal claim.
