The glasses are OK, but the process of getting them, the lead time on orders and having to actively chase and cajole the company for basic info throughout the process means I wouldn't buy from them again.

The product i.e. the glasses itself are top notch. I’ve been using prescription glasses for nearly 25 years and Lance Glasses have been one of the best. The communication is not so good. I’ve contacted them through emails and facebook messenger. Never received any reply! That stopped me from ordering Lance 2.0.

It is very surprising that they are asking to write here with giving a small chance of winning free glasses. I don't know what they expect considering their service. It's normal to wait for two months without any notice or further instruction after backing up through Indiegogo. Later I opened a claim to ask, and they guided me to a survey which is mandatory to start whole process, which means I was just waiting for nothing. you need to be annoying to be treated well. Apparently they have a facebook group, but you cannot find it if you are not a person who is curious about everything and search random things on facebook. Since I replied to the survey, hopefully they started to make it and send it too me soon. However, it's been another two months since I filled it in. In addition, there were writing Paris, France in their location on Indiegogo, while apparently they are sending it from Hongkong. Let's see how custom and taxation goes. They said it will be fine(?), but I also found a complaint comment about quite a lot of VAT imposed. ---------update-------- I am giving two more stars considering the glasses are in good quality I must say. However, I got the product one month after this rating, which means it took more than 5 month. It was early 2020, which was probably beginning and busy time for the company, so if you can get confirmation of the delivery date, it can be a good deal. I got an email that the company appealed to remove my comment according to a proper procedure, and that's why I update this. I hope the company goes well and gives pleasant experience to customers.

If you're happy to wait 3+ months for a pair of glasses then these are fine. The pair I bought are ok quality and the prescription is fine, however they are quite heavy and uncomfortable and therefore I don't really wear them much. My other pair of glasses were bought in a shop where I could try them on and they were more expensive, but the difference between both the look and comfort is night and day.

Been buying glasses at brick and mortar shops for decades. Took a gamble and bought 2 Lance glasses through Kickstarter. Went through the same delays many are experiencing which builds expectation. Finally received mine and while quality is good, they do not really fit my face. The classic wears too low and adding stick-on nose pad does not help. The premium doesn’t fit well and materials are rather thin and overall is kinda ‘meh’. Both sits in the box and never seen a light. This is my personal experience with my choices and I have read many reviews of happy customers but unfortunately these are just not for me.

I did order two pairs, one in March and other in September. On average, I would say, delivery is 1.5 month delayed. Although I love my glasses, both of them came slightly bend at hinges or bridge. And I can't blame shipping company because package is solid and nicely sealed. So I presume poor quality control at the assembly line is the reason. But luckily I got them fixed at my local store and got refund for doing that. Virtual mirror app is pretty accurate, it work really good on PC not sure about phone... In conclusion: It's hard to recommend these glasses, but they look really nice and if you are willing to wait and not scared to hustle they are worth it. With all the stuff I had to deal with in the end I am happy!

I backed you during your first campaign, and I received quite a bit of compliments on the glasses design. One prescription was a little off but they sent me an uncut glass. Wanted to back you during the second campaign but you charged quite a bit for the progressive lens but I didn't hold back when I stumble upon an attractive Christmas deal on Indiegogo. The perks mentioned that a January delivery but has somewhat be pushed back till February for tracking for which I think I shall only get it in March. I think you can be more transparent in your estimated time of delivery I trust you guys will deliver, although slightly late. Honestly I like your glasses.
