The pictures are helpful, as well as, the descriptions. I wish it were a requirement that all puppies parents be pictured, along with the puppies. I think it would be helpful to know if the puppies have been vet checked, and if so are those papers available for the buyer to view. I have purchased puppies from this website and the puppies are registered, but that information was not in the description, I had to ask the breeder. I don't know what the website looks like for the sellers when they are putting in the description, but if the options were just there for the seller to check off, maybe they would list these things.

Hi Patricia, We’re truly sorry to hear about the loss of your puppy, that’s heartbreaking, and we completely understand how distressing this must be. Please know we take reports like this very seriously. If you could share the breeder’s name and any supporting veterinary documentation at [email protected] , our welfare team will review this immediately and take appropriate action on the account if warranted. Again, we’re so sorry for your loss. — The Lancaster Puppies Team

I got a puppy from their site that has severe BOAS and significant narrowing of its trachea. He needs surgery within the next few weeks to help him breathe. The breeder ignored me when I told them and hasn't responded back to me. I went to leave a review and I was told that since it their first offense, they won't post my review. So buyer beware. The breeders name is Wes and Beulah Miller in Dundee ohio. Do not buy a bulldog from these people unless you have thousands of dollars to spend on Bradyceohaloc airways obstruction syndrome surgery. There is no fix for this guys tracheal hypaplasia. Lancaster puppies is doing everyone a disservice by hiding reviews like this. They are helping the puppy mills. A reputable company would protect its consumers.

Hi Jill, We’re really sorry to hear about your puppy’s health problems and your experience with the breeder. We understand how upsetting this must be. We do not tolerate any breeder misrepresenting the health or welfare of their puppies, and we review all reports carefully. If you could forward your vet report and any messages with the breeder to [email protected] , we’ll make sure this case is investigated further. We also appreciate your feedback about the review process, it’s something we’re actively working to improve to better protect buyers. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. — The Lancaster Puppies Team

I dont understand what is happenning or what but the calls I got were all scammers trying to place deposits and then get money back by Zelle, Venmo, they say they pay the dog and then they say that payment is pending and that you have to go to another source and then they try to scam you for you to return a extra money the supposedly deposited, I dont think is the organization Problem, but be aware of this situation, dont fall for it!!!
Response from Lancaster PuppiesOct 31, 2025
Hi Cecilia, Thank you for sharing your experience and for helping to raise awareness about potential scams. We completely agree that it is very important for buyers to stay alert and never send deposits through unsecured payment methods like Zelle or Venmo. All legitimate breeders on our platform should communicate and accept payments through safe, traceable methods only. We encourage anyone who receives suspicious messages to report them directly to us so we can block the accounts involved. The Lancaster Puppies Team
