Insulting ad
Yes this is my review...there is a recent ad with the Kuru Guru...she holds up a pair of 'old lady' type black shoes..she then goes on to mimic an old lady's voice named Glynnis..in that mimicking voice she alludes to wearing these old lady shoes as opposed to 'cool Kuru sneakers' as a woman who only plays bingo and wears diapers!..I am personally appalled that this ad insults older women..I would now never purchase Kuru shoes because this ad

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts—we truly appreciate your feedback. We understand how the ad might have felt off-putting, and it means a lot that you’ve spoken up about it. At KURU, our intention is never to insult or stereotype any age group. In fact, many of our most loyal and passionate customers span generations—including older adults who count on KURU for everyday support, pain relief, and style. The KURU Guru ads are meant to be playful and lighthearted, aiming to highlight how our shoes differ from traditional, outdated styles, not the people who wear them. Your voice helps us be better, and we’ll definitely be forwarding your comments to our team for review as we create future content. We deeply value the diverse community that supports us and would love the chance to serve you in a way that feels good to you. 🖤
