Our standard shipping timeframe is about 8 days, which is shown at checkout with an estimated delivery window. You checked out as a guest, so the $8.99 shipping fee was applied—this is normally waived when customers create an account and sign in before ordering. You also opted into our extended 60-day trial and shipping protection for $4.99, which covers loss, theft, and damage for quicker replacements, as well as extending your return window from 45 to 60 days. Lastly, you paid $10.12 in taxes, which will be included in your final refund. While shipping and protection fees are not typically refundable, I completely understand your frustration, so I’ve gone ahead and issued a one-time exception refund of $14.67 to cover those charges. You’ll see that credit on your card within a few business days. Once your return is received, your refund for the shoes and tax will be automatically issued in full. I know how disappointing that must feel, especially when the shoes weren’t worn regularly and you expected them to last longer. We definitely stand behind the quality of our products, which is why we offer a 6-month warranty to cover any manufacturing defects. That said, even if a pair of shoes is stored and not worn daily, the materials naturally break down over time. Adhesives and other components can degrade, especially after a couple of years, which unfortunately makes it difficult for us to guarantee performance beyond the warranty period. I completely understand why this would be frustrating, and we truly appreciate your feedback—it helps us continue improving. While we aren’t able to offer a replacement in this case, we’d love to offer guidance on a more recent style if you're considering trying KURU again in the future.
