I like that the company offers size 35/5. I live in France and do not like that I have to pay for my return because the shoes were too wide, even though they are medium.

the company is trying to automate support with an AI bot. The bot told me it was processing my return but never sent required instructions. When I logged in again it said my return was already in process. My return was in limbo land. So it required me to call. The support person was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Also a clear communicator. She told me the bot was giving out bad information and that KURU no longer supported "happy returns". That's disappointing. I have found Happy returns very convenient and quick. Alternatively she sent me a fedex label. Now I had to find an appropriate box and pack it. then take to a fedex bricks and mortar location. Not as nice (AMZN is looking better all the time). Buying clothes on the internet is hard. Sizes may not fit, colors look different on the screen, or with shoes they may not work with your feet. This is the reality of online clothing retail and the business needs to make this as easy as possible to correct issues. Otherwise I will shop where they make it easy. KURU dropped in value to me. I own several pairs of their shoes. And are happy with them. But it took several tries to find the right fit. With this new return hurdle I would drop my overall rating to a "C". Not bad but not great.

Pros: Easy to order, look great, good arch support. Cons: I've tried several times now and after about 30 minutes or so my heels start to hurt. I was really excited about these shoes. I went ahead and bought Hoka and I've no issues at all or with any other tennis shoe (Ortho, Sketcher, NB, etc. )

My GF has a pair and loves them. Talked me into it. Purchased a pair before a vacation, knowing its anticipated delivery was close to my vacation start date. Immediately after they shipped, their arrival was pushed back. I reached out to kuru to see if they had any contact with the shipper and if there was anything that could be done( delay, redirect, hold, etc). I made an attempt with the shipper and was ultimately denied. The CS person in Kuru did apologize but in one breath said I should have bought insurance and ordered even earlier then I did. Disregarding the posted estimated time, and the shipping companies responsibility in delivering and the fact I just spent $175, and that wasn’t enough. They weren’t wrong, but they weren’t really trying to hear me and help get ahead of a possible problem. Hopefully I’ll get them after I return. But I’ll likely be returning them before taking them fully out of the box. That first interaction didn’t sit well. My Brooks are doing just fine.

They have nice, decent, comfortable shoes overall, but their website and delivery are the worst. I ordered 2 pairs of water friendly sandals for a trip on September 6, 2023. The first thing is that their site shows shoes are delivered when they haven’t even shipped yet. Not just in this order but for other orders. Secondly, today is September 14th and I finally got fedex tracking which shows 9/19 for arrival. 13 days to get an order in the US? I called customer service regarding this order before it shipped, and they were nice enough, but couldn’t explain what happened, nor did they offer to do anything to expedite. Since they now will arrive after I’m gone, I put a hold at fedex location so they won’t sit out for a week, and they will end up getting sent back. At this point I don’t care. Won’t need sandals much longer this year. It gives me time to find a better brand for next season. In summary, very unreliable shipping time. I really needed something for this trip as I can’t walk barefoot and needed something water friendly. Thanks for nothing.

The shoes feel and look of good quality materials. I found the break-in period did nothing to help with my plantar fasciitis. It was since day one I found the footbed hard and unyielding. I work on cement floors all day and could never get past a 1/2 shift before needing to swap out and wear a different pair of shoes. I ordered prior to changing my position from office to sales floor so by the time I got through the break in period it was past 45 days and KURU wouldn't refund even though the shoes are nearly new. This is the 2nd time I gave Kuru a try and will not bother with this brand again.

My experience is slightly different from most. I have Mortons and I called and ordered a pair specifically for that. First pair I did not like at all. Really ugly. So called and returned with no issues. Fast and easy. Good customer service. She helped me pick another pair out. Second pair better not ugly but a different looking shoe. I wear them sometimes but like my Brooks much better. They are ok on my feet but just not my style. But as for customer service they were very good. Ok so today almost one year later I received a email from trustpilot saying that Kuru wanted more information or my text would deleted. Really. First I don't still have order number. Second my review wasn't bad. Just didn't like style. For price point didn't care for it. It was not comfortable for my feet. Third. I'm not giving out my personal information. I signed up to TP and they have it So if a year later a company doesn't like your review they make you answer for it. Look up my order from my email. Not liking this FBI type inquiry

the sneaker it self holds up well, its the reason I gave 3 stars, otherwise would have been 2. The reason I purchased these sneakers (Quantum) is because I have plantar fascitis. |After 3 months the effect of the sneaker seemed to stop helping. Now at 5 months and I have had enough. Took the insole out to find it is totally worn out.. thin.. Nice looking sneakers but I can buy any sneaker, and put an insert in for much less money. Really disappointed
