Beware- horrible return policy
Beware- horrible return policy! I ordered a shaving blade. It came as described. I used it one time was not satisfied and tried to return it. The first email said it was purchased 30 days ago which it was, but was only in my possession for 28 days, and that it’s a personal hygiene item and cannot be returned. Then the second email said it’s not about the time, it’s that it was used. The policy clearly states brand new condition, which it was. Don’t do business with them.

Dear Cannon, We are sorry that you were not happy with your purchase. If the it was "new" you would have been more than welcome to return it. You state in your review that you "I used it one time was not satisfied and tried to return it.". Our policies clearly state that we do not accept used merchandise. We have the "no used product policy to protect our customers." Your used razor has hair, skin cells and maybe trace amounts of blood on it.

Came through in the end.
Item had the label printed a couple days after the initial order and then reached the post office a couple days after that. After reaching the post office the tracking had no more updates until it arrived a week later. Items arrived in good condition and well packaged. I wouldn't let this discourage someone from buying from there, but wanted people to be aware it's not necessarily an immediate shipment, but that the order is likely on its way. I did not reach out to customer service, so I can't speak to that.

Hi Eric, Thanks for taking the time to share your experience—and for your honesty. I’m glad to hear the items arrived safely and in good condition, even if the shipping timeline wasn’t as clear as it should have been. We do our best to ship quickly, but I agree that tracking delays with USPS can sometimes make things more stressful than they need to be. We appreciate your understanding and your balanced feedback. If you ever need anything in the future, we’re always here to help—and we’ll work to make your next order even smoother. Best regards, Josh Terryah Owner, Knife Country USA

Trouble-free with quick shipping
Ordering process was smooth, the backpack I bought was out of stock almost everywhere else yet Knife Country still had a fair price. Time to shipment was posted as 3-12 days per COVID; I received the shipment notification 2 business days later and had the product in hand within a week of ordering. i had no reason to contact customer service, so I can't speak to that aspect of the business. All I know is that I found what I wanted at a fair price, I shopped around a bit for another product, and both were delivered to me well-packed and ahead of schedule.

Hi Clay, Thank you for the detailed and thoughtful review! I’m glad to hear the ordering process went smoothly and that both items arrived quickly and in great shape. We work hard to keep our inventory accurate and fairly priced—even during times of limited availability—so it’s great to hear that stood out to you. We appreciate your business and hope to serve you again anytime you're in need of more gear. All the best, Josh Terryah Owner, Knife Country USA

No Product & No Response
Purchased a cooler 2 weeks ago, still hasn't shipped. I contacted them after a week of no updates and asked & was told "fishing gear takes 10 days to ship" Ok, fine. I waited the full 10 days and it still hasn't shipped. I finally reached out yesterday & asked for an update- no response. I reached out today & asked to cancel my order & still not a response. I found the same cooler on Amazon & Walmart but I purchased from here because I wanted to support a family owned business- but what a joke they are.

Hi Taryn, Thank you for your honest feedback, and I’m very sorry for the experience you had back in August 2020. That period was one of the most difficult stretches we’ve ever faced—COVID-related supply chain delays, vendor backlogs, and a flood of customer inquiries overwhelmed our small team. Unfortunately, that led to slower responses and fulfillment issues that were not in line with our usual standards. That said, I completely understand your frustration, especially since you chose to support a family-owned business. You had every right to expect better communication and service, and I apologize for letting you down. While I know it doesn’t change what happened, I’d love the opportunity to earn your trust again. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly if you ever decide to give us another try. Sincerely, Josh Terryah Owner, Knife Country USA [email protected] (800) 342-9118

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. I purchased knife X. They sent me knife Y. I emailed explaining the mistake. They actually said the error was my fault! They said, "we expect the customer to call us before buying a pocket knife to make sure that we will send them the knife we picture on the website." WHAT? I would never buy from this company again. Thete are too many great knife retailers out there. BUYER BEWARE.

We are very sorry to hear about the error. Please give us a phone call and we will correct the error and get the proper model shipped out to you. Crazy times during this pandemic. We would never intentionally send a customer the incorrect item. Looking forward to hear back from you and getting the proper item on its way to you. All the best to you and yours. Stay safe!

Bad Experience
Recently purchased an item. Two days passed and no update to my purchase. Called and they said yes we have your order, you’ll probably receive the item mid next week. Ordered the same item from a different retailer. I placed the order late friday night after 11pm. Was notified on Saturday my item shipped and received it on Monday. Promptly cancelled my item with this retailer. Would stay away from this company at all costs. Majority of reviews here explain it all.
Response from Knife Country USAMay 13, 2021
Dear Robert Smith, Sorry that you are not happy with our services. Please note that we are very clear that orders take 1-3 business days to process on our website and during the checkout process. We are a small family business and run a little slower than a big box store like Amazon. We make up for the shipping time with us you can put a face with a name and have one on one conversations about products and recommendation. Trust me... if I had $150,000,000.00 I would run my business a lot different however I am just an American citizen running a small business to put food on my families table. You are always welcome to return merchandise for a refund within 30 days as long as it is still new. All the best to you.
