Hi John, I’m sorry to hear about your frustration and appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback. To clarify, our free shipping policy does apply to orders over $89—but as stated in our shipping terms, it excludes oversized or heavy items like hatchets that exceed 3 lbs. We try to be as transparent as possible about this during checkout and in our shipping policy. As for the delay in my reply—you're right, and I take full responsibility. That’s not the standard we hold ourselves to, and I understand how that impacted your experience. We’re working to improve our response times and ensure future customers don’t run into the same issue. If there’s anything I can do to make this right, feel free to reach out directly to me at [email protected] or (800) 342-9118. Sincerely, Josh Terryah Owner, Knife Country USA

Hi Dan, Thank you for the thoughtful and encouraging review! I’m really glad to hear everything went smoothly and that the Bucklite folders arrived early and exactly as expected. We may not be Amazon, but we sure work hard to beat expectations—and I’m glad we hit the mark for you. I also totally get the challenge of keeping track of expensive knives—that’s why budget-friendly, reliable options like the Bucklite are such a great pick. Thanks again for supporting our family business. We truly appreciate your trust and look forward to helping you again down the road! Best regards, Josh Terryah Owner, Knife Country USA

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the Coticule sharpening stones you received. While it’s true that natural stones like Coticule can vary in size due to how they’re quarried and finished, we understand how frustrating it must have been to receive items that did not match the listed dimensions. Our intent in stating “sizes vary” is to set realistic expectations for handmade and naturally sourced materials, but we recognize that the size difference in your case was more than expected. We could have done a better job clarifying that in our listing, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. As for the return process: our standard policy includes a restocking fee and return shipping, but we offered to waive the restocking fee in your case and only charge the outbound shipping cost. We realize this still left you feeling stuck with the stones or facing a costly return, and for that, we sincerely apologize. Your feedback has prompted us to re-evaluate how we list and communicate details for variable-size items like natural stones. We're committed to improving and providing a better experience for all customers. If there's anything we can do at this point to make this right, even retroactively, please feel free to reach out directly. We value your business and hope to earn back your trust.
