Customer Service Non Existent
I paid £52 for a "personalised" diabetes diet. It was emailed to me in 24 hours but when I looked at it, it was totally unsuitable for my condition and circumstances. The following day, I wrote to them and cancelled, in line with the internet distance selling rules. The site said they would reply within 24 hours. No chance but when I did get a response, it was wanting to know why I did not want their plan. I just wanted a refund, so advised accordingly. I also raised a dispute with Paypal but to date they have not responded on there so far. I received an email reply stating that as I could share my diet they supplied me with others, I was only entitled to a 50% refund, which I rejected, referring them to the consumer regulations in the UK. Today, I got a message to say that as I had raised a dispute through Paypal, they would let the case progress through them but could take 20 days. I wish that I had read Trustpilot first as their customer service belongs in the Stone Age They are exploiting vulnerable people with an inferior product. They do not understand consumer law. In my opinion, stick with Diabetes UK who are the real deal. I see they contacted me through the review so I supplied the information but that was the last I heard. They post this to give the impression they care. They don’t.
