MyDiabetes is an awesome way to track your glucose and a great way to learn new dishes

Great app. Very comprehensive.

I was diagnosed with prediabetes right before Easter. My doctor gave me NO advice (which I am finding as very common) and also told me that my insurance wouldn't cover a diabetic counselor. I was really at a loss and very concerned that I would become diabetic. The MyDiabetes app is a lifesaver. It provides recipes for meals and snacks based on food preferences and allergies. Plus, if you don't like a recipe, you can ask the app to suggest a new one. I feel better and look better now. I am more confident in managing my prediabetes.

I would like to be able to change my meals with options that would be the same caloric count

I appreciate the reminders to drink water! The recipes ask for several things we did not have. It seems a bit expensive to keep buying things. I wish my favorites were repeated. I am still disappointed that although I have followed it religiously, my glucose levels are all over the place. I have learned a great deal though!

You don’t get to see a meal plan until you have paid for it. The plan had ridiculous meals and snacks with long shopping lists and no way to o make substitutions. I specifically said I did not eat a specific good and many of my choices contained it. The snacks are not something you can easily make when you work full time. I will be canceling my subscription. Waste of time and money.
