My dogs love Kismet Nuggs. Freeze drying dog treats is an awesome idea to seal in flavor and crunch. Thank you! Great product!

Thank you and your dogs! Nugs are great as a treat and amazing protein bombs sprinkled throughout our clinically proven food.

Brewers rice is 5th on the ingredient list. It is a cheap filler, can cause obesity and GI upset.
Response from KismetFeb 25, 2026
Thanks for taking a close look at our ingredients. Brewers rice is included as a highly digestible carbohydrate that provides steady energy and supports stool quality, especially for sensitive stomachs. In our recipe, it follows four primary animal-based ingredients, which provide the majority of the protein. Our formulas are clinically tested and proven to improve gut health, and every ingredient plays a specific role in supporting overall nutrition. We would love to better understand your experience with Kismet. Please contact us at [email protected].

I never write reviews, but I transparently believe this is the healthiest dog food on the market and would recommend to anyone struggling with their dog's gut health. Kismet changed my dog's life, we got the chicken recipe. For 3 years we changed her food because nothing would sit well with her. She had such a sensitive stomach, and on top of that she was picky. Kismet is the first food she can fully digest and that she LOVES. She's obsessed with the freeze dried nugs. it's also clinically proven and vet approved, so all the claims check out. Thanks Kismet!

I think the food is of good quality, and my dog seems to like it. It’s easy to order/subscribe and change dates as you need it. My only complaint is that some bags don’t seem to have very many of the nuggets mixed in. There is definitely not consistently is the number of nuggets from bag to bag.

We’re so glad your dog is liking Kismet, and thank you for the honest feedback. Nugget distribution should feel consistent, and while some natural variation can happen with freeze-dried inclusions, it’s something we’re continuing to fine-tune. We appreciate the feedback.
