I ordered my first-ever kilt from Kilt and More, and immediately began to panic
I ordered my first-ever kilt, in my family's tartan, from Kilts and More around Jan. 11. I needed it rushed so I could try it on, make sure it fit, and wear it to my neighbor's 2nd Annual Burns Night, so I paid for 7-10 day delivery At first, I found ordering it as a "guest," I had no way to track its progress. I panicked. Especially after learning from Ahsan about Day 5 that it had just been shipped. I panicked more, every day, even with a tracking number Ahsan kindly gave me, it would NOT arrive in time. I even held off on ordering a sporran for it, from another site, for fear I'd have a sporran for the night with nothing to wear besides it. I even prepared to order an "emergency" kilt from another site, that was no where near the quality or crafstmanship but assured me it would arrive in time. My MacFarlane kilt not only arrived on Day 7 (business days), or Jan. 20, it FIT, the acryllic feels and looks like wool (important for the colder weather here in New Jersey), and it ARRIVED BEFORE THE SPORRAN. I am impressed with Kilts and More's customer service - Ahsan was most attentive, despite my obvious panic - and even more impressed with the quality of the kilt, and the accuracy of the tartan, I ordered. The leather straps, the belt loops, the buckles all evidence care and quality in manufacture. As do the pleats. I recommend Kilts and More to anyone wanting a kilt, for any reason.
