A young man driving a KB Custom builder truck aggressively passed me on a narrow road this morning with oncoming traffic. He had been tailgating me even though I was traveling 5-10 miles above the speed limit. I was traveling with my 18-month-old granddaughter. He had no regard for the personal safety of me or my granddaughter. I would question his regard for your personal safety while working in your home. I have notified this company but beware of their employees.

If I could leave zero stars I would
If I could leave zero stars I would. My experience with KB Home has been extremely disappointing. The customer service has been consistently poor, with inadequate communication, slow follow-up, and little urgency in addressing concerns. Instead of receiving helpful support, I have repeatedly felt dismissed and left to manage problems that should have been resolved promptly and professionally.
We have lived in this new-build home for only three years, yet we have already experienced numerous problems, including leaking gas valves, leaking furnaces, and other appliance-related issues. These concerns have gone well beyond minor inconveniences and have raised serious questions about the quality of the installation, workmanship, oversight, and attention to detail. For a relatively new home, I expected the appliances and major systems to be installed correctly, operate safely, and be thoroughly inspected.
Overall, the combination of poor customer service, substandard installation, and a lack of accountability has resulted in a frustrating experience. Based on my experience, I would not recommend KB Home to buyers who expect dependable workmanship, responsive service, and a company that stands behind the quality of its homes.

Unprofessional And Horrible Development
We moved in to Verona community in Titusville, FL. We bought it brand new and moved in for 3years.
We bought a brand new house because we wanted to have a peaceful mi d for our retirement.
First they used poor, poor low cheap quality and not using skillful workers, cause everything start falling apart in one year, first is the concrete driveway had a huge crack .
Then sewage pipe crack, causing mold growing on the wall.
And main water supply lines leaking
Then the air conditioner water leak inside the drywall, creating a mold inside the house.
Overwhelmed by unprofessional response.
Even they encourage you to call their emergency number to get it fix.
What you got the answer when you call is , wait for whole week, NO RESPONSE, and you try to call someone to follow up, they gave you a number to follow up on your own. What you got the answers back when you call the follow up number is ( we don’t serve any house is not under warranty, call somebody else)
They could tell you in first place why they waisted people time like this??
All I know is.
If u you ou planning to invest your money in KBHome think twice

We are currently under contract to…
We are currently under contract to purchase a new construction home from KB Home in Princeton, Texas and have made substantial financial commitments toward this purchase, including approximately $10,000 in design center upgrades in addition to our earnest money deposit.
During construction, we discovered that the primary bedroom was significantly smaller than represented during the sales process. KB Home acknowledged this concern and provided a concession, which we appreciated and accepted in good faith.
A separate issue later arose regarding the upgraded primary shower that we selected and paid for. During the sales and design process, we relied on information provided by KB Home, including the Model 2701 video walkthrough, the 3-D virtual tour, and communications with the design center regarding the upgraded shower option. Based on these materials and discussions, we reasonably believed the upgraded shower would utilize the larger garden tub and shower footprint shown and described during the selection process.
The shower that was ultimately installed differs significantly from what we were led to expect. We documented our concerns with photographs, measurements, emails, and references to the sales materials used during our purchasing decision.
We raised these concerns directly with KB Home management. Despite our efforts to resolve the matter professionally and in good faith, KB Home declined to provide any additional accommodation or resolution.
Our concern is not simply a matter of measurements. Our concern is that the upgraded shower delivered does not reflect the size, configuration, and overall impression created by the materials and representations relied upon during the sales and design process.
We are filing this complaint because we believe we have made every reasonable effort to resolve this matter directly. We are requesting that KB Home review this matter again and work with us toward a fair resolution so that we can move forward with confidence in our purchase.

Unskilled labor poor quality
Unskilled labor poor quality, we'll get to that.... I would have been better buying an existing home and having it fixed up. Run, don't walk away from KB. They won't fix anything after you move in. If you get an independent inspection, they claim the issue is fixed. If they k ow you are on a tight schedule to move they will wait you out so it cannot be reinspected and still meet your timeliness. KB is bad!

Underwhelming Customer Service
We purchased a KB Home in late 2023, within 2 years the siding had already cracked and came loose. Most likely poor installation or defective materials, siding doesn’t usually fail like that on a nearly new home.
When I reached out to KB Home, I was told by customer service that the issue was outside of their warranty window. Upon appeal, I was referred to Greg Franks, Director of Customer Service for the Raleigh/Durham area. Greg asked for photos, which I provided promptly, but then he never followed up.
After multiple unanswered emails and calls over the course of a few weeks, I was finally able to catch him on the phone. He simply reiterated that it was out of warranty. A frustrating answer, leaving me confused as to why he would bother asking for pictures and why he would not have just stated that instead of avoiding communications.
He threw out a few insincere “solutions”, each shifting the responsibility back onto us or the random contractors they had hired.
I felt extremely let down, particularly because KB largely markets itself on superior customer service/satisfaction and warranty protection, none of which I experienced. I shared my disappointment online in the form of reviews, and only then did Greg’s position change. Shortly after the reviews went live, he begrudgingly offered to fix the faulty siding.
The first attempt at repair hadn’t lasted more than a few days before coming off again, reinforcing the notion that it was probably not installed the first time. However, they came back a second time, and for the time being it is holding.
While I am satisfied with the eventual outcome, I am left severely underwhelmed by the customer service provided.
