My son had an amazing week at Outset with such an engaging medical opportunity that will have lasting memories on his future and medical career choice! I will recommend this experience for all interested students.

My daughter just came back from Outset dermatology program and UNC and absolutely loved everything about it. Can’t recommend this program enough!

An overall fun and educational experience!

I just attended Outset at UCLA in the pediatrics group. I had a wonderful time! I learned so much about what to do now in hs to prepare, pre-med, med school, and beyond, as well as doing hands-on professional simulations. I got to meet some amazing medical professionals and hear about their experiences. Though outset has a high price tag, I highly recommend high schoolers who are interested in medicine, even if they are interested in something other than being a doctor. Apart from the academics, I built a really great community and we did so many fun activities such as getting ice cream, the Santa Monica pier, scavenger hunts, and shopping. It was truly a life changing week where I made so many connections and learned so much, as well as the UCLA campus being amazing and beautiful. As for the staff at outset UCLA, they were all so amazing and open to questions about their own pathways. I am so greatful there is great camps such as Outset out there for students!

My rising senior went the the general surgery program at Vanderbilt University this past week. She traveled by plane from Alaska and the airport pick up and drop off were well organized and right on time. She enjoyed making new friends and experiencing dorm life for the first time. She complained about the lengthy lectures, felt like she wanted more time doing hands on things. I was hoping there was more opportunities for actual shadowing but everything was simulated. I think she really loved suturing and getting to see the campus and also Belmont College. I think it was the perfect amount of time to be away. The communication from the program and the photos they sent were really great and much appreciated.

My son attended the UCLA program and had a great experience. He really liked the counseling team and enjoyed the facilities. Only wish would be to have more time in the hospital.

My daughter really enjoyed the program. She found the information shared all week so helpful to prepare her for a pre-med major. She said she would definitely recommend the program to a friend! The staff were great and the evening activities made it fun for the students!

Outset is a wonderful program that allows your child to experience the medical profession in a safe environment. They allowed students to explore NY, friendships, and interactive hands-on medical scenarios. We highly recommend
