Heard's bookkeeping platform is reliable and provides all the information my CPA needs to prepare my taxes. However, they are not always able to help when issues arise. All in all, good enough to continue using but hoping for more support in the future.

I am getting quick and helpful responses that are making this daunting process of filing for an S corp much less painful than I imagined it would be. I’m also finding Heard to be a great resource for answering questions that are helping me become more informed about the financial aspects of the business of running a solo practice. They don’t need to be ignored or swept under the rug if you have a good team on your side. Update: I’m having to edit this 5 star review due to my new discovery that Heard will not engage in any live contact with clients. I needed immediate help with payroll setup this week in order to edit a bank account that I added incorrectly. Because they insist on email only, I couldn’t get the answer I needed to make the change which ended up being complicated and required more nuanced assistance than sending me links to an article and a sentence that ends with an exclamation point. They did end up helping to fix the problem but not before the deadline for payroll passed. Kind of left me feeling like there is a reason why contact with an actual person to do bookkeeping is the way to go.
