They act like they are customizing the medication to you but after reading reviews, others listed the same medications Naltrexone, Bupropion, Topiramate, and Zonisamide. These are all very inexpensive medications. They are also serious antidepressants and anti-seizure drugs that alter your neurotransmitters and hormones, so of course they can have pretty serious side effects. The Found providers prescribe these medication without ever examining the person. I tried the medication and felt terrible on them. One made me completely apathetic and the anti-seizure medication caused memory problems. None of the medications helped me lose weight. Then, when I tried to access the 90 day money back guarantee, they claimed it was only valid for 90-120 days after signing up. Found is a complete waste of time and money.

I joined found because I was hoping to get a prescription for Saxenda. They have a lot of hoops to jump through, send Blood test results, insurance card etc. I did all of this. I realize Saxenda is expensive, so I understood why I was offered extremely cheap medications first... and I tried them all. Metformin, Topiramate, Naltrexone and Bupropion.... But when none of these worked I thought I would at last be offered a trial of Saxenda (or at least Phentermine even though I didn't want that), but I was totally shut down by the "clinicians". They said they are not offering it now. No reason as to why, or if it will ever be offered. Nothing. To top it off, I then cancelled my subscription, but well after my cancellation they charged my Amex another $149. I am now in process of trying to get that back.

After 90 days, three billing cycles, and zero weight loss, I submitted a request to cancel my membership and request a full refund. First they claimed I was not eligible for a refund because "Since medication was consented to and shipped and July and September we are not able to provide any further refunds to your account. The refund policy is determined by whether or not the recommended medication has been consented to, prescribed, and shipped. In general, refunds are not eligible once the medication has been prescribed and shipped.". That is not their policy. I questioned this response. The next message just stated I must not have one of the 4 requirements and sent the actual policy. I met all the requirements yet Found still refuses to honor their 90 money back guarantee. The medications I was prescribed, Neurotin, an Anticonvulsant and Nerve pain medication, which sometimes has a weight loss side effect. I reached out to the physician and explained the side effects I was experiencing on the lowest dose, which shr responded that That side effect is rare, but to continue to increase the dosage. Well the side effects that are 'rare' became much worse, I requested a change in medication. The next medication that was prescribed was naltroxene, a medication given to drug and alcoholics, because this medication also sometimes provides a side effect of weight loss. There ARE medications out there specifically for weight loss, yet two medications prescribed were in hopes that the side effect of weight loss might occur. The coach... after 8 weeks of checking in, and setting weekly goals, has nothing else to offer, and asks me what I want to work on each week for the next three weeks, no goal setting, no suggestions, I had to research and come up with 'something ' that I wanted to 'work-on'. That is not useful, and a waist of a resource. Found responds with a bogus reason why a 90 DAY money back guarantee is not honored. You receive a refill every 30 days, if you accept the second month's medication (after 30 days), you are not eligible for a 90 day money back guarantee. If you have 90 days to determine if this program including medication is effective, you are not eligible for the refund!

FOUND says they prescribe "weight loss medications" States they provide "personalized coaching" Neither of these is technically true. FOUND has ONE medication combination that is actually considered for Weight loss. HOWEVER, they amount and combination they prescribed did not fit the Weight loss criteria for prescribing. The other meds they provide are drugs such as Blood pressure meds, Seizure meds or anti-depressants that have some possible side-effect of Loss of appetite. They do NOT personalize the dose of these meds, so the possibility of them actually working is ZERO to none. For example, they prescribe the same amount for someone at 160 lbs as 280 lbs. (my friend and I researched and compared) The medication they gave me was for Seizures. After further research, I discovered that only 5% of people taking the medication have Loss of Appetite as a side-effect. The second medication they gave me was a Blood pressure medication with 7-10% possibility of side effects. Each "Medical Professional Review" they would say "Based on your history, the only thing we can prescribe is..."... I would refuse and they would offer something else... (????) Twice they offered to "prescribe" OTC meds. (Alli) Once, I was literally just sent a list of medications and told to pick. (so much for the professional opinion) As for coaching, 3 times a week you get a generic text from someone. You answer the question and then get a "way to go" or some silly response. It's anything but personal. As an after-thought... while reading some of these reviews, I cannot help but feel that they are possibly writing their own reviews here. No one from our support group has had a positive experience like described in some of the writing.

I joined in May of this year. I had been already on a pretty strict diet of about 1400-1500 cals/day and working out about 3-5 times/week. I had been started on an SSRI during the pandemic and gained weight while on it (I weaned off shortly after joining found). After some initial back and forth with my initial provider I was prescribed a medication meant to treat seizures and migraines that had a side effect of curbing cravings and decreasing appetite. The initial medications recommended were no-gos for me as the major side effects included diarrhea. I had argued back and forth with the provider about the medications they were suggesting, and I felt like I was being a pain in the butt. I was a bit skeptical of the program because the provider seemed to reluctant to prescribe medications I have seen typically used for weight loss and were suggesting medications meant for other conditions that had side effects of weight loss. Reluctantly, I decided to try the medication. I started taking the prescribed medication and it did help with cravings. I am not sure of how much it did help with weight loss because I also weaned off the SSRI i had been on. I lost a few pounds in the first two months, but in my third month I seemed to plateau. I contacted my provider, who had changed in the interim, asking if they would consider changing my medication. I also had some routine labs drawn at that time. She got back to me quickly and again suggested the medication the original provider had - with the side effect of diarrhea. The following day I got my labs back and my kidney function had decreased, and my labs were abnormal. I contacted my PCP who told me I need to stop the medication. I also contacted my found provider to let them know - and they agreed. I am going to need to have additional tests done and have my kidneys monitored to make sure the damage isn’t permanent. I contacted found to cancel my membership and request a refund- I feel a refund is fair since the medication prescribed needed to be stopped because it caused harm. I feel that a refund is the least that could be done. They completely avoided my requests for a refund originally, offering me a membership just for coaching and not meds. I continued to ask and followed through with cancellation and they have refused to refund me stating that after a consult and medication has been prescribed they don’t provide refunds. I am very upset that I even tried out found. I feel like it has done me more harm than good. I feel like this company is just out to prescribe cheap drugs with off-label uses for weight loss without actually taking into consideration the health of the people they are prescribing to. In addition they have poor customer service - refusing to provide a refund when the medication they prescribed caused harm. I would beg anyone considering having medications prescribed to be very careful of taking medications prescribed and be sure to have regular labs drawn when taking off-label medications, and be aware that they are really just out to get your money.

I joined 3 weeks ago. I was pleased with the start. Quick response to questions within the 1st week. Medical gal..quick with responses. Then I noted a change in coaching communication...seemed that no one was actually reading what I was texting to the coach. The meds, in my opinion, act like a thermogenetic. These can be bought for far less than $99 a month. I was told I was getting a new coach, then got one and never heard from her. The previous one was no longer consistently communicating. It was bizarre. The weigh-in requests were all over the map. I opted to attempt to cancel the membership. Four emails in and still no word from anyone. I got some random text from the original coach and told her the deal. She suggested I pay $49 just for wellness. What wellness? I see no meal plan suggestions, no exercise suggestions...nothing. You are basically paying for the meds to a tune of $99 a month which is outrageous. I am still cutting out the junk, mindful of proportions, and doing a mix of weight lifting and cardio. Pills are not the cure-all...they will maybe push it along faster but at the end of the day are you committed to staying on them for the rest of your life? This company sucks at communication on all fronts. Once they have that money, good luck with the rest of it. They talk a good game, I will say that and I was excited at the start but that soon faded and quick.

I would not believe the previous negative reviews - I think they are fake. My experience with this company is nothing like what the reviews have suggested. I signed up Sunday night, and by Monday morning, I was already contacted by the staff. And I was contacted by the doctors and my coach in the afternoon. Because my experience was nothing like what the negative reviews suggested, I realized they were fake reviews, probably from the competitors.
