Paid to switch medications to stay on schedule, still stuck in review queue with dose due tomorrow. I submitted my intake on September 3, 2026 and paid $79.00 for the Semaglutide program (Invoice #SLUWSBDJ-0001). On September 7, I paid an additional $43.44 to switch to the Tirzepatide program (Invoice #SLUWSBDJ-0002), specifically to keep my treatment on schedule since my next dose is due September 8. Despite paying $122.44 total across both invoices, my order still shows "Processing," dose "pending medical review," and tracking "ships after medical review." On September 7 I contacted support by phone and by portal chat (agent Oliver, 3:13-3:25 PM). Both times I was told my chart had been "escalated" and to "allow some time," with no review timeframe given and no confirmation a provider would even look at my chart that day. I'm transferring ongoing care from my primary care provider, so this delay isn't a minor inconvenience, it's an actual gap in treatment. I've emailed support asking for a same-day review, guidance on the missed dose, a local pharmacy bridge option, and a credit for the disrupted period. My subscription renews monthly at $129, and right now I'm reconsidering whether to continue past this billing period. Updating this review based on how it's handled.

It was on time and very understanding with information

I signed up on Aug. 31 and very quickly after I kept getting emails that there is a delay in my prescription being sent. I contacted customer service and keep getting the same response from them. I did let them know that I was going on vacation and no one would be home if it were sent before them. There was no care or concern. I was even told by one customer service rep that my case would be escalated, and someone would reach out but I have not received no response. I signed up for the VIP+ service and I believe that is a joke as well. Nothing has to be sent, but I have not received anything that was promised with that subscription. This reminds me of the prior service that I had. They cannot even give me an estimate ship date. I canceled my subscription. I talked with a live representative on chat and all they could tell me was because of all the orders there is a delay in shipping and just to keep monitoring my account for a ship date. This morning I called and talked with someone and was told they did not understand why my order had not been shipped because I was at 7 days and it should have been shipped within 5 days. I was told that he was adding a note for my order to be escalated. I also asked about the VIP+ subscription and he was surprised no one had reached out to me yet. Right now - just waiting to see if I get better communication than just an email telling me there is a slight delay in shipment.

The provider was very informative, knowledgeable, and kind

I love how affordable the medicine is and that the doses never go up.

Unfortunately I didn't receive email or text notification that I had a scheduled call until 30 minutes before the appointment so I was not prepared nor had I logged into the call. The provider called my phone and we conducted the appointment that way. She was fantastic: patient, thorough, informative, helpful, friendly, and was a delight to work with. Unfortunately, the call I had had about a week before that (video conference) was the total opposite so it was great to see that there were great practitioners with Embody, I was fortunate to have spoken with this one.

I’m basing my low review on the fact that this company doesn’t review your health issues & eligibility until AFTER they run your credit card. I applied for the product, submitted my payment information & then received an email stating I needed a release from my doctor. I found out that having had a history of pancreatitis, I am not the ideal patient so I requested a refund which I still haven’t received & is turning into a nightmare. It is my feeling that they need to interview the patient first to determine whether or not they are eligible and if so, then run their credit card….but unfortunately they don’t. I spoke to one of their customer service employees who was very polite but couldn’t help me. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I will have to wait for a callback so now…. I wait…tick tock..buyer be aware before giving payment information….
