I’ve had a great deal of frustration…
I’ve had a great deal of frustration over the past two weeks. Specifically with the portal which I’ve been unable to access because it’s getting fixed. I called last week about it. I called yesterday and today about it. It’s still not working. I cannot see anything except my current appointment date and time. I’m not sure if that will change now that my appointment was today. I do have a future one scheduled, but I have not been on the portal yet.
In addition today, October 6 Tuesday is the day I’m due to take my next injection. My prescription has been with the pharmacy since September 24. The last time my medication was delivered was August 28. It is now in excess of 30 days. The representative I talked to you last week, a man, was not helpful. And I think there may have been a language barrier there. The gentleman I talk to yesterday said the right things, but did nothing that helped progress getting the prescription or getting the portal fixed. When I called today, the woman I spoke with told me that she was escalating my concerns. By the end of my workday today, which was 4 PM Eastern time, I had already received an email that my prescription refill was at the start of the shipping process with FedEx and I’ve already been contacted by a representative over my concerns about potentially missing my injection date and what it meant.
I also do not like that. Embody does not have its own app. I feel like Embody had the app it would be a better solution to some of these difficulties. In addition after talking with my care support person today, I feel like it would be a good idea because Embody could incorporate a tracking method for protein, fiber, exercise, food, intake, water, intake, etc. and the care support team would be able to readily see my results. In addition, it would help me instead of having to buy a separate app.

Hi Kelle,
We appreciate your positive four-star rating and thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We are glad that your medication shipping was ultimately processed and that a team member reached out to discuss your schedule. At the same time, we hear your frustration regarding the extended downtime of the online portal and the mixed experiences you had when calling customer support over the past two weeks. Timely access to account details and dependable communication are essential, and we recognize how stressful it can be to worry about a potential lapse in your treatment routine. Your comments regarding representative interactions have been noted so we can work on improving our service quality. We also value your suggestions regarding a dedicated mobile application and built-in tracking features for daily habits like nutrition, hydration, and fitness. Insights like these help us identify where we can enhance our digital tools to better support your health journey and streamline communication with your care team. Our technical and management teams are actively reviewing these portal issues and feature requests to make necessary improvements.

Poor customer Service
Poor customer Service. I would not trust this company. They are not interested in a person, only want to make money. There are more dates other than today, I called and was told higher up person would call back, never received a phone call. I called back and was told they could only respond via email?

We are truly sorry to hear about your frustrating experience with our customer service, the unfulfilled promise of a callback, and the confusing communication regarding how we can assist you. It is deeply disappointing to know that we left you feeling unheard and uncared for, as this is certainly not the standard of support we aim to provide.
We would truly appreciate the opportunity to look into what happened, review your experience, and make things right. Your feedback matters to us, and we are committed to addressing your concerns properly.

I started with Embody on August 28
I started with Embody on August 28, and received my first shipment on September 1. All was well until my monthly shipment was due and I realized it hadn't even shipped. I reached out to customer service via their chat, and was told my medication was still at the pharmacy and, once shipped, would arrive to me in 5-10 business days.
This was extremely frustrating as my medication was meant to have arrived on 9/29 - exactly 4 weeks after the first shipment, and on 9/29 I was informed it had not even shipped yet. I asked if this was something I could expect moving forward and was informed that it was not.
After reading reviews here, I realized it's kind of hit or miss. Either you don't experience this delay, or you do and just deal with it.
Luckily, my medication arrived the next day and appeared to have been expedited.
Since that ordeal, I have been attempting to schedule an appointment with a care provider. EVERY SINGLE appointment slot I have attempted to schedule has been "unavailable." Hundreds of appointment slots over several weeks. All unavailable. At this point, I think they're a myth.
I reached out to customer service and dealt with a lovely service member named Edward (Ed) who attempted to help me manually schedule an appointment, but he ran into the same issue. He put in a ticket into the system to have a provider reach out to me, but I'm not super hopeful.
I really wanted to have a great experience with this company... But so far, it's been tough.

Hi Emily, thank you for sharing your feedback and please accept our sincerest apologies for the frustrating experience you have had with both your shipment delays and the inability to schedule a care provider appointment. We completely understand how concerning it is to face unexpected delays with your recurring refills and then encounter a calendar where every single time slot appears unavailable, preventing you from getting the clinical support you need. This is certainly not the level of care we aim to provide to our patients. We would truly appreciate the opportunity to make things right and will be reaching out to you to gather more details. Your experience matters to us and we're committed to addressing your concerns.
