The provider was over 12 minutes late both times they also continued to gaslight me on autism diagnosis and practices. I am a certified health care navigator and know what exactly I needed for diagnosis. When attempting to advocate for my needs, they were dismissed multiple times. I've since cut them off and moved on to another provider. Get second opinions because they'll waste your time and money otherwise.

to add: a neurotype creyos exam was administered after explaining I already have taken the exams. During my follow up meeting she said she couldn't diagnose only administer the exam then recommend sending me to somewhere else for a comprehensive exam. I am not sure how to dm but a formal complaint has already been emailed.
Response from Blossom HealthMay 18, 2026
Hi there - please DM us and we'll investigate this ASAP.
We take punctuality very seriously and value the time of our patients. If a provider is late without providing any heads-up, and especially if they do that more than once, it's behavior that's inconsistent with our standards and expectations here at Blossom.
Regarding an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis, can't comment without knowing more, but all our providers are fully clinically trained & capable in diagnosing ASD, as appropriate. We'd typically ask that you complete a condensed digital neuropsychological exam that our providers are able to send you after your appointment via text / email. If that did not happen for you, please let us know, and we'll get this fixed for you immediately.

Charged 6 Times The Promised Amount
I was told during the intake process that my copay would only be $30. After my appointment, I was charged $170. When I asked about the cost, I was told that "upon further checking," I actually owed the full amount, not a copay. This is unethical and insanely shady. I cancelled my remaining appointments. Please be careful everyone.

Hi there - happy to look into this if you'd like to DM us your details.
In general - while situations like this are rare, sometimes patient copays or deductibles do unfortunately change after a visit. Prior to your visit, we ask your insurance company for a best-faith estimate of your out-of-pocket cost. However, sometimes that pre-visit estimate can be incorrect and we only learn that after the visit when your insurance company adjudicates your claim.
If it were up to us, every visit would be free of charge but that's not the reality of the US healthcare insurance system today. We are legally required to charge you the amount your insurance company determines, and if they update that amount, we'll charge or refund you the difference.
We never want finances to get in the way of patient care, so we're happy to offer our zero-interest payment plan as well which spreads your patient responsibility into $10/day increments.
Thank you for choosing Blossom, and we hope to be able to serve you again 🌸

Horrible experience the doctor didn’t…
Horrible experience the doctor didn’t even show her whole face. All I saw was her eyebrows on two visits that were 11 days apart. She had me redo two tests then said I didn’t take a test that she never sent me and then in the end she didn’t even prescribe any medication‘s. She suggested that I go see a in person psychiatrist because she couldn’t write prescriptions for Ambien or Xanax. I told her I did not want to be medicated that all I needed. Was those two prescriptions filled to function in life.

Hi there - thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will investigate.
Outside of regulatory restrictions in a small hand-full of states, our providers are largely able to prescribe the full spectrum of psychiatric medications. That should not be a reason to turn you away (or any patient who comes to us seeking care). We aim to understand each patient's unique symptoms, circumstances, and conditions - and then work hand-in-hand with you to craft the right treatment pathway (which may include medications, if appropriate).
So let us get to the bottom of this and make this right by you. We'll follow up once we know more. Thank you.

Would not recommend
Would not recommend. No forgiveness if you accidentally book somewhere that doesn’t take your insurance. I had an appointment for TEN minutes and realized my insurance wouldn’t cover it so they charged me a $50 cancellation fee per their policy. I didn’t have the appointment for days.. I had the appointment for minutes and didn’t want to waste either of our time following through as my insurance does not cover their program. BEWARE before you book with this company!!
Response from Blossom HealthApr 3, 2026
Hi Denae - we're sorry to hear you're not happy with your experience at Blossom.
Part of what makes Blossom special is that we really care about timely access to care. Unlike other places where you're on a waitlist for weeks or months to be seen, we see patients in under 48 hours and often times same day.
That only works though if our patients respect their provider's time just as our providers respect your time. When you cancel within 24 hours of an appointment, you're charged a $50 late cancellation fee.
This isn't meant to be punitive. We're more than happy to waive the late-cancel fee if you reschedule and attend a new appointment.
Hope that makes sense. We'd love to help you with your mental health. 🌸 ❤️

Bait and Switch
Their big advertising push is that they offer access to doctors who take your insurance. Fine. I bit. They asked for my insurance information. I uploaded my card. They confirmed - we take your insurance! Here's the calendar with all the open spots you can chose from! They even ran a test charge against my credit card.
Which was great. They take my insurance, and have a lot of availability.
They then asked for a LOT of personal health information. Medications. Mental health concerns. Family mental health issues.
Then, all of a sudden - with no explanation, my (confirmed) appointment was cancelled. After multiple messages from me, I'm told they don't have anyone who takes my insurance. They take my insurance, they just don't have any provider that takes my insurance. What??? But no worries, I can pay out of pocket, they tell me. Only $300. Versus the advertised "up to $22 co-pay".
It's a bait and switch. They are credentialed as a company, and they have openings - but they don't have providers who take the insurance.
Completely unacceptable. And quite likely illegal.
I demanded that they delete my personal health information from their system. They archived it instead. Which is really the opposite. And that battle continues. They have no right to my health information or my credit card information, when they can not provide the service they advertised.
Response from Blossom HealthApr 3, 2026
Hi Chris - thanks for your message. A few things:
1. While we do accept the vast majority of commercial insurances, including BCBS, you have a specific Blue Shield sub-plan that isn't covered in-network under our contracts. This is rare but an unfortunate aspect of how the insurance system in America works today.
2. While we aren't able to accept your insurance, we do offer the option for you to proceed with your appointment cash-pay. Of course totally up to you if you'd like to take us up on that. We understand it isn't financially feasible for many patients, which is why we are working tirelessly to expand our insurance coverage so that more patients can be treated in-network.
3. Regarding data. HIPAA requires us to retain patient records by law. So even while we can archive your information so that it can't be accessed, we would be misinforming you if we said we could truly "delete" your information which we by law cannot.
Hope that helps, and hope you receive the care you need.

Blossom was removed from my network
Blossom was removed from my network, and they didn’t let me know. They charged over $220 for 30 minute sessions with non-psychiatrists that didn’t even last the full 30 minutes and later refused to negotiate at all with me, saying it was up to my insurer. My experience was awful, and they’re still trying to withdraw $10 every day directly from my bank account, even though I just provided them with my debit card. Do not trust them.
Response from Blossom HealthMar 23, 2026
Hi there - happy to look into this for you if you'd like to DM us your name.
In general:
1. We don't decide what to charge you, your insurance plan does. We are obligated to collect the amount you owe for copay or deductible and have no discretion to alter that or "negotiate". If it were up to us, every patient would have no copay, but that's unfortunately not how the US insurance system works.
2. Regarding the $10 charges, you're likely enrolled in our payment plan which allows you to pay off your copays or deductibles over time instead of all upfront. So instead of paying $220 immediately after your visit, we'll collect $10 from you each day for 22 days to help you spread out the cost of your medical care.

I am writing this to warn anyone…
I am writing this to warn anyone seeking a formal autism diagnosis or clinical documentation for accommodations: Do not waste your time or money with Blossom Health.
This practice is engaging in what I can only describe as a "bait-and-switch" scheme. Before scheduling, I was explicit with multiple representatives and reviewed their website, both of which indicated they provide formal autism evaluations, including ADOS-2 testing. I specifically needed this for accommodation documentation and clearly stated I already had a prior ADHD/DLD diagnosis. I was assured they could provide the specific autism testing I required.
The Reality of the Appointment:
Once they had my money and I was in the consultation, the provider admitted that Blossom Health:
• Does NOT perform full autism diagnostic evaluations.
• Does NOT provide neuropsychological testing.
• Does NOT provide documentation for accommodations.
Instead of the clinical evaluation I was promised, I was given generic, "quick" questionnaires that are freely available online. The provider essentially told me I "likely" have autism traits but that I would need to see a real neuropsychologist for a diagnosis—the exact professional I thought I was hiring when I booked with them.
Medical Negligence & Poor Service:
To make matters worse, the provider prescribed Atomoxetine, a medication I explicitly told them I had already taken in the past with no benefit. This proves they did not review my medical history and are simply operating as a "medication mill."
Zero Accountability:
I have reached out via text and email multiple times over the past week to resolve this. They are incredibly fast to respond when it comes to scheduling and taking your money, but they have completely ignored my requests for a refund regarding their misrepresented services.
Bottom Line: This is a shady business that prioritizes profit over patient care. If you need a valid diagnosis or actual support, look elsewhere. Blossom Health is a money-grab that ignores you the moment you ask for accountability.
Response from Blossom HealthMar 13, 2026
Hi Krystal - thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry you're disappointed in your experience with Blossom, and I've had a chance to investigate what happened here.
1. As a clinical matter, autism is a diagnosis that has degrees of confidence, never 100% certainty. It's not like a broken bone where a CT scan can definitively tell you whether you have a fracture or not.
As your Blossom psych provider explained, we can diagnose autism with a good degree of confidence using the tools we have at our disposal (patient presentation & interview, patient history, family history, diagnostic questionnaires, digital cognitive exams, etc.).
But if you want to have an even higher level of confidence in an autism diagnosis, you can go to a neuropsychologist (which Blossom does not have as we are a psychiatry clinic) and they can go through a full 3+ hour long battery of tests for you (including the ADOS-2 you mentioned).
But I do want to make clear that our psychiatrists are fully qualified to and do diagnose autism and other neuro-atypical disorders with patients.
2. Regarding accommodation or disability documentation - we do supply such documentation for established patients where we've had a chance to observe them over two or more visits.
When a brand new patient comes to us explicitly seeking accommodation documentation, we typically defer that request to a later visit as it would be unethical to provide it immediately.
3. Regarding the atomoxetine medication your provider prescribed to you. The treatment plan was fully explained to you during the visit (including reasons for prescribing, directions for use, possible side effects, etc.) which you acknowledged and agreed to affirmatively. If you had previously tried that medication and reacted poorly to it, we would need you to make that information known to us.
4. Regarding your request for a "refund". Your provider spent 52 minutes with you performing a full psych intake evaluation, which was billed to your insurance plan and you were charged a $45 copay (as required by your insurance plan).
We do not have discretion to refund you that $45 as we are contractually and legally required by your insurance company to collect it.
If it were up to us, every patient would be seen for free with zero out-of-pocket costs, but unfortunately that's not how the health insurance system works and we're bound by the specifics of your insurance coverage and plan requirements.
5. Regarding our response times, we responded to you within the same day each time you contacted us.
----
All in all, we apologize that we fell short of your expectations and we hope you're able to access the care you need - whether with us or elsewhere.
If you would like to continue with Blossom, please let us know and we'd be happy to help you schedule a follow-up appointment.

Do not use their telehealth services
Do not use their telehealth services. I booked a visit, I completed all my pre-visit paperwork & set aside time from work while my child napped for the visit. I used the Zoom link they sent( i tested it out 15 min earlier to make sure it worked), and sat for 5+ minutes after my visit time, the "host" (provider) never showed up & I didn't receive any messages from her or her company about running late or anything. So since this was my 1st visit, I left the Zoom & figured she would call me if she showed up. Nope! No communication! Received a generic email from Blossom that they charged my card $100 for the "no show." I went back & forth with Klaire over email explaining what happened. Just for her to basically say I'm lying, and that the provider was there on Zoom, and waited 11 minutes for me. And they won't refund me but can rebook me with the provider. Why would I feel comfortable rebooking with this person & discussing my health concerns with her? I already booked with another company that won't waste my time. It is insane how poor customer service is, I would never get away with this at my job. It's so disheartening.
Response from Blossom HealthMar 11, 2026
Hi Eileen - we're sorry about the mishap here, and want to make this right for you so that you can access the care you need.
Your provider did attend the Zoom for your appointment on time and waited 11 minutes. But it sounds like you were waiting in a different Zoom room, so you missed each other.
That's okay, these mishaps happen. We're happy to rebook you for a different time and waive the no-show fee once that appointment occurs.
Our support team offered you this option, which you declined, but we'd still be happy for you to take us up on that. Our number one goal is helping you get the care that you need.
If you'd like to proceed, let us know and we'll get this taken care of for you.
