I am extremely disappointed with my experience. A company that advertises itself as helping people with ADHD and anxiety should understand that mental health conditions and unexpected life events can make it difficult to attend appointments.
I experienced a personal crisis and reached out before my appointment to explain my situation and reschedule. I was honest that my ADHD, combined with what I was going through, left me completely overwhelmed. Despite communicating this and asking for understanding, I was still charged a $100 missed appointment fee.
What happened afterward was even more upsetting. I explained that I am facing serious financial hardship and could lose my apartment. I begged them to stop attempting to collect the disputed fee while it was being reviewed. Instead, I was repeatedly told they “understood” and would “look into it,” yet they continued submitting payment attempts against my account.
The irony is hard to ignore. A mental health provider should recognize that people with ADHD and anxiety sometimes struggle during crises. Instead, I felt dismissed, unheard, and treated like a billing issue rather than a patient. Policies are important, but so are compassion, discretion, and common sense—especially in psychiatry.
If you’re looking for a provider that genuinely supports patients through difficult moments, this was not my experience. Rather than helping reduce my anxiety, this experience made it significantly worse. I hope this company reevaluates how it handles situations involving patients experiencing genuine mental health and life crises.

Hi there - we always put patients first, and we're pained anytime any of our patients feel like they didn't receive excellent care & service from Blossom. Please DM us with your details and we'll look into this for you and make things right.
We understand how serious it is living with mental health conditions that can derail your life at any minute. And in the spirit of doing right by patients, we take great measures to be as accommodative as possible so that patients can access the care you need.
Our attendance policies make it possible to offer same-day and next-day appointments because our patients respect the time of our providers just as they respect yours. We also offer generous fee waivers if appointments are missed or cancelled late.
We'd still very much love to help you, and hope you receive the care you need whether at Blossom or elsewhere 🌸 ❤️

They handle business...
[Update!]
These people just screwed me over and it's important to know how they punish patients who have to reschedule. Every appointment costs $30.00. This is taken directly from your bank account. If you have an issue and need to reschedule then it's best if your issue happens 24 hours in advance of your appointment or else Blossom will bang you for $50.00. If you pull a no show on an appointment Blossom will rail you for $100.
My morning started with someone from Blossom texting me repeatedly about confirming an appointment that was already set. Not long after I realized that I didn't have the $30.00 to cover the appointment fee so I requested if billing could wait one day until my pay went on. They couldn't. $30.00 and they need it right away I guess. This put me in a situation where no matter what I do, they're going to overdraft my account. I told them this. I attempted to reschedule my appointment more than 5 times and never received any response. My appointment time came and went, I sent the emails and texts ut still Blossom hit my account for $100. This put me in the red with my bank. They insist its their policy, that I'm in the wrong and whatever. So now I'm broke and still, at the time of this writing haven't had my appointment rescheduled. I thought they were better people than this, I thought wrong.
I like when things are simplified and hassle free. Blossom stays on top of everything for me and I not only like that, I need it. I work a lot and often take on extra hours. I don't have a lot of free time some weeks and rembering appointments, dates, times is near impossible. I don't have to deal with any of that with Blossom. They send me texts the day before all the way up to an hour before my appointment. If I have to reschedule, I just text them and within 5 to 10 minutes they're either working on it or have already offered me new times to switch my appointment to. When I send them an email, they respond within the hour, with solutions not excuses. They handle business, plain and simple. My favorite thing about Blossom is they'll text me and see how I'm doing. They do this so that my doctor can have info about me during the interim of our sessions. They also do it because they care. I believe anyways. I just had a very good conversation with one of their support folks and it really helped. I'm thankful for that. Overall I think they're good people who sincerely care, most professional, they find solutions and solve problems and they just make things easier and faster by default.

My provider recorded my session without…
My provider recorded my session without my expressed consent. I asked for the recording to be deleted. Blossom Health refused, and told me I signed a T&C agreement during onboarding that gave them permission to record. Technically, that is correct, but ethically they should still ask for consent before recording a session. I'm in a 2-party state as well.
Also my provider wanted to label me with inaccurate conditions after about 8 mins of intake, and wanted to medicate me for them, rather than addressing the issues I was there for (neurodivergence). Overall I didn't have a good provider and it was made worse by their predatory digital policies.
FYI they are funded by VCs so if you're okay with your most intimate data being collected and stored by SV investors, go ahead and use them for the convenience but your data privacy and safety is very much in jeopardy. They would not even acknowledge whether they used AI note taking via Zoom, or how long my video will be stored -- they now own it all and refuse to delete or provide any overview of how long they retain it. Never again, I'll stick to in-person providers.
Response from Blossom HealthJun 26, 2026
Hi there - these are good questions, and we're happy to shed more light on both the "what" and the "why" of our data and technology practices.
1. Patient privacy & security are foremost concerns for us. Any and all records are stored in secure, HIPAA-compliant environments. That extends to 3rd party technology vendors as well (which are covered under signed BAAs) like Amazon Web Services, etc. No information is ever shared with investors or anyone else who is not a HIPAA-covered entity or doesn't have a medically-appropriate need to access patient information.
2. By law, we must retain all patient records for at least 10 years. They cannot be destroyed or altered or deleted (even by patient request).
3. Consent to the use of technology is explained upfront during the onboarding process and agreed to by every patient prior to treatment. During the Zoom sessions themselves, there is also a prominent bright-red flashing "REC" indicator to make it abundantly clear that sessions are recorded for clinical assistance, quality control, and compliance purposes.
4. In general, we believe that technology can unlock better medical care for the tens of millions of Americans in need, especially in a severely underserved area like psychiatric mental healthcare. All medical decisions are ultimately made by licensed, board-certified clinicians, but by assisting and augmenting them with the latest cutting-edge technology, we can help improve the accuracy and precision of your treatment and ultimately deliver you better health outcomes.
If you prefer an in-person, paper & pen psychiatrist, we totally understand that and respect your wishes. We hope you receive the care you need, whether that's at Blossom or elsewhere.

Blossom is a scam company
Blossom is a scam company. Do not do business with them. They will fake a meeting , give the wrong link so they can charge you a “co-show” charge of $100! And if you don’t have enough in your account, they auto enroll you in a payment plan of $10 each couple days until they take all your money. They then rinse and repeat this. Do NOT go with this company. I already I have an open investigation with them and am working with my bank to get all my money back. Don’t trust these scammers
Response from Blossom HealthJun 10, 2026
Hi there - Blossom is certainly not a scam and we serve hundreds of patients every single day.
We send every patient a unique zoom link to join their session prior to each visit. This is to ensure your privacy and safety. If you open Zoom using anything other than that link, you won't be connected to your provider.
As for our zero-interest payment plan, we offer this to patients to help alleviate the financial barriers keeping them from seeking & maintaining care. The way it works is that we'll space out payments at $10 / day over time to pay down a balance.
Regarding the $100 no-show fee, this helps make Blossom accessible to everyone who needs it. Just as we value your time, we expect patients to value the time of our providers. So if you don't show for your appointment, you're charged a $100 fee. This is waived if you rebook and attend your next appointment.
We're sorry you weren't able to connect with your provider and would love to make this right with you. We'll reach out directly to help you book a new appointment. And if that's not of interest, we wish you the best in your care journey and hope you find the right solution elsewhere.
Thank you, Blossom 🌸 ❤️

Was useful for a while but then things changed
Was useful for a while but was frustrating with appointment times, they randomly changed my appointment to a 60 minute consultation appt that other providers do not require and changed the appointment without me knowing and essentially I got charged $300 in no show fees. One was my fault, one was the 60 min appt that I literally showed up to work early for and the provider didn’t show, got charged. I was told that I couldn’t do a 30 min appt even tho I had already been being seen by someone else, I just needed to continue my adhd prescription. The last one I was waiting in the call and got a text for a no show fee while I was waiting in the zoom lobby. They were testing me this morning and offered an appointment window. I responded with my desired time and then they never responded. They essentially stole money from me and ghosted me. So idk what happened, but to me it seems that something changed and this has turned into some kind of scam. I’m done and attempting charge backs.

Hi there - we will investigate asap, get to the bottom of what happened, and get back to you on how we can make this right.
We're here to make amazing care easier to access, not harder. I would be frustrated in your shoes too. We're sorry this happened.

This company
This company, Blossom health, left me stranded mentally and I had 3 psychiatrists plain out ignore, cancel, and ghost me. This was very disappointing and I was reaching out for help with none. I will never use or contact them again and want these emails to stop immediately. I have unsubscribed, tried blocking, and done everything possible but am still being bothered. Unprofessional and unhelpful service, please leave me alone
Response from Blossom HealthMay 25, 2026
Hi there - while we are committed to helping you (as we are with all patients), it is important to set the facts straight.
1. You were under the care of one single clinician in your time at Blossom, Alicia S. She went above and beyond in providing you the highest-quality care possible, including herself personally spending hours attempting to track down your prior psychiatrists to obtain your extensive & complex medical records.
2. We take continuity of care & patient abandonment very seriously, and can categorically confirm that nothing remotely even close to that occurred here. If anything, Alicia and our staff bent over backwards to accommodate you. You decided to terminate your medical treatment willingly and against medical advice.
3. We've certainly stopped sending you any communications, per your instructions. We always respect the wishes of our patients when it comes to correspondence, and have no interest (or benefit to us) of sending you any undesired messages.
We hope you were able to obtain the care that you need elsewhere. We know you're going through a difficult time in life and genuinely hope that things get better for you. Appreciate you seeking help with us here at Blossom, and hope you find the right solution soon.

Lied to and overcharged
My experience with Blossom health was very negative. I had initially scheduled an appointment with a provider to discuss my ADHD. That appointment was then rescheduled without my consent.
I had to cancel that appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled time. Per the policy if I did not reschedule within 72 hours, I would be charged $50. I rescheduled immediately within minutes of cancelling, avoiding that $50 charge and being in compliance with policy.
Blossom then rescheduled that appointment without my permission, knowledge, or consent. I showed up on time for the appointment that I had scheduled to learn that I had been charged a $100 no-show appointment fee because my schedule appointment was rescheduled hours before the time that I had scheduled it for, without my permission or my knowing. I would never do this to my patients, and it was appalling to see that it had been done to me not once but twice.
After a very stressful email conversation, I was promised that these charges would be removed from my account and I would not be charged for the cancellation fee or the missed appointment fee.
I then have my appointment with my provider. She did not focus on my ADHD, and instead asked me many questions about childhood trauma, my upbringing, and things that I personally felt were unrelated to my ADHD and more related to her curiosity around my CPTSD. I kept expressing repeatedly I had a therapist for those problems and was there to see her for my ADHD. I also expressed that a particular medication that I had been on in the past for ADHD reacted very badly with my system. I come to find out that is the medication she had prescribed me.
I have canceled all upcoming appointments with Blossom and have asked my pharmacy to reshelve the medication. I do not feel comfortable scheduling with blossom.
I then check my bank account and see that it is missing $150 because Blossom has gone ahead and charged me the fees they said they would not, which I have documented. I am refunded $100 after more lengthy back and forth. When I ask about the $50 cancellation fee I shouldn’t have been charged at all, I’m told that “per their policy and with their system” they can only refund the most recent charge. That’s hogwash, and a bad excuse to steal from patients. No billing system or EHR actually functions this way. It’s blatant theft. I’m still trying to resolve this.
I feel jerked around, stolen from and lied to. I would never in 1 million years treat my patients at my practice this way and the fact that I was treated this way is appalling. I do not recommend using Blossom.
Addendum: I saw Blossom had replied, and I’d like to add a few notes and clarify things for my review.
When I met with my provider, as I mentioned, I did not feel she was as invested in my ADHD -what I was requesting to be seen for- as she was in my CPTSD. I reminded her repeatedly I was there for ADHD, and had a provider for my CPTSD.
As for the refunds, I genuinely felt like I had to wrestle them out of Blossom.
The $100 fee I was charged after I was told it would be waived.
The $50 fee I shouldn’t have been charged. I was within Blossom’s policy of “reschedule within 72hrs and the fee is waived.” I have it documented (as does Blossom) I rescheduled it within minutes of cancelling.
I messaged in to Blossom, and was told I’d be refunded the $100 but not the $50 fee “due to policy” by a rep named “Queen.” That allegedly Blossom could only refund the most recent charge to the account. Firstly the $100 wasn’t the most recent charge, my copay was, and secondly, the fee shouldn’t have been charged at all. I had to point this out sending screenshots of their own messages to me, and then and only then did I receive the full refund from a different rep. This experience has been beyond frustrating, and unprofessional.

Hi There - I've had a chance to look into this, and this is fair feedback. While some of the mishaps that made your experience with Blossom so frustrating were genuine misunderstandings, a few of them were entirely our fault. We apologize and regret that we made your life more difficult when we're here to make it easier.
1. Your initial appointment was rescheduled to a similar time on the following day because your provider had an unavoidable scheduling conflict come up that meant he no longer could make it to the original time.
We did email you twice about this change, text you, and also call you. And you did seemingly acknowledge the change in appointment date & time. But I agree that rescheduling an appointment is not a great start to your care journey.
2. 10 minutes before that rescheduled appointment, you cancelled citing not feeling well and were charged a $50 late-cancel fee as per our attendance policies.
3. You then worked with our support team to schedule a new visit to make up for the one you cancelled. There was a miscommunication as you are based in PST time zone but our staff quoted you a time in EST. So we booked you for 12:30pm EST, and you rightly expected that to be 12:30pm PST. That's our fault, and we own that mistake.
4. So when the appointment occurred at 9:30am and you (quite understandably) did not attend, you were auto-charged a $100 no-show fee.
5. When we were finally able to get you in for a visit on the third try, that worked out and you were able to meet with provider Mirandine A.
6. We did refund you both the $50 late-cancel fee as well as the $100 no-show fee, but understand how frustrating all this was and how that doesn't make things right.
All we can do is apologize and own up for the mistakes that we made. We wish you well. And if there's ever a chance you'd be willing to give Blossom another try, we'd love to show you why we're beloved by some many patients. Sorry again for all this.

Educated a patient regarding his options for continuity of care
Educated a patient regarding his options when switching from Optum to medical, and how he would be able to continue care. Was then dropped from the platform for ‘phishing for patient’ or trying to see them elsewhere.
Response from Blossom HealthMay 20, 2026
Hi there - part of what makes Blossom truly special for clinicians is the incredibly high amount of trust we place in their hands to exercise their best clinical judgment, do right by patients, and practice with integrity, independence, and autonomy.
When a provider breaks that trust, however, we unfortunately are forced to act to protect our patients and Blossom.
In this case, over multiple instances, you attempted to move patients off-platform. That not only endangers patient care, it also violates their privacy and trust in Blossom. And not to mention, by doing so, you also violated your non-solicitation contractual obligations.
All to say, we wish you well and appreciate your time with us here at Blossom.
