It was more expensive than advertised. Now my insurance blue cross isn't approved anymore which is advertised as approved. The dr. Just increased my anti depressant which is not what I wanted or came in for.

Hi there - it's always heartbreaking to us when insurance coverage comes back as out-of-network, especially when there's a delay from the insurance company in letting us know. We do accept most BCBS plans, but in your case, it's a medicaid plan being administered by BCBS. We're not yet in-network with medicaid or medicare yet (although we're working on it!) so that's the cause of what happened here. As for your medication, it may not be exactly what you were anticipating prior to the appointment, but it's important to trust in your psychiatrist's clinical judgment when it comes to medications. A lot of times, patients end up being pleasantly surprised by the results they achieve with medications they weren't expecting!
