Excellent product. Helped me discover blind spots when authoring my resume. Jobscan identifies gaps that are not always obvious. My only critique is skills will often be overlooked by Jobscan if they do not exactly match in the job description. It almost default to a “control f” search for word when scrutinizing conjugation. Other than that, solid product!

The Jobscan tool has been crucial to me in today's brutal job market. With ATS platforms programmed to look for specific key words, Jobscan has really helped me to ensure that my experience is properly worded to highlight that my skills match the job description. This tool was recommended to me by the California EDD, and I have told every job seeker and recruiter I know about it!

Jobscan was a true partner during my Job search. It provided the right guidance to make my resume noticeable and reach recruiters when it mattered the most.

I’m writing this review not to attack Jobscan, but to document a billing issue that I have been unable to resolve privately so far, and to give the company a final opportunity to fix it. On December 25, 2025, I was charged 89.95 USD via Stripe for a Jobscan Premium quarterly plan after a Black Friday promotion promising a three‑month subscription (Dec 25, 2025 – Mar 25, 2026) at a discounted rate. The Stripe receipt clearly states “Three month subscription to Jobscan (Free trial, then 89.95 / 3 months)” with access through March 25, 2026. In practice, I did not receive uninterrupted premium access for that full period. My access was limited/removed well before March 25, even though I had paid for three full months. I contacted Jobscan support on December 25 explaining that the product was too expensive for my situation and that I didn’t want to continue at the same pricing given some technical/usability issues. Instead of clearly confirming a cancellation or offering a pro‑rated solution, I was only offered another promotion link. Later, I opened a formal dispute with my card issuer (Citi Double Cash) under “canceled service/goods”. Citi initially granted a conditional credit and then reversed it after the merchant responded, effectively stating that I am responsible for paying 89.95 USD for a three‑month subscription that I never fully received. From a consumer‑rights perspective in the U.S., charging for three months of service and failing to provide access for the full term is equivalent to charging for services not rendered / not as described. I have kept all documentation (Stripe receipt with the subscription period, Citi dispute letter, and Jobscan support emails) and I am prepared to escalate this further through my bank and relevant consumer protection authorities if necessary. However, I genuinely prefer to resolve this directly with Jobscan and keep this as a positive example of how the company handles edge cases. At this point, I respectfully request one of the following good‑faith resolutions: A full refund of the 89.95 USD to my original payment method, or A new three‑month Premium period added to my account, with written confirmation that my access will remain active through the full term without early limitation. If Jobscan can help me with one of these options, I will gladly update this review to reflect that the company stands behind its customers and its subscription promises. I believe this would be a fair and reasonable outcome for both sides. I am available to provide my receipt, account email, and Citi dispute documentation directly to Jobscan so they can verify everything and respond appropriately. The job market is nasty, with AI and ATS used to ruin the experience for candidates but Jobscan is a great way to rapidly customize your documents to match keywords and fit job roles. This increased my conversion from application to callbacks/screeners and eventually got me an offer for the right role.

Using this Jobscan I was able to find the gaps in my resume to match the requirement and make the necessary fine tuning before I apply for that position. I love using this tool and would highly recommend this to anyone who are looking for the next career move.

I've used yall for years and now the power edit feature is gone and you can no longer change the color of headings (you guys had blue, purple and green). The product used to be seamless and intuitive - not anymore. Please bring back the old Jobscan!

It's a brutal job market out there right now. I used Jobscan primarily for the resume scan and optimization. Over the course of about 60 different resumes for 60 different opportunities, it helped me craft a style and more impactful bullets.
