Jobscan.coReviews of jobscan.co

I used JobScan during my job search. Most of the resumes I submitted got responses and I ended up with three offers. The process was a couple of months long for me, which was much shorter than what I’ve heard for others in the industry (UX).

Before using JobScan you need to make sure your resume is sophisticated and read like you are brining a higher intellectual level to the table. (for tech jobs at least and based on my experience) Once your resume look great and read great, you use JobScan to make sure ATS pick your resume. After paying a resume a writer to write my resume, I was getting no calls or emails. I was only getting rejections. After using JobScan and optimizing my resume for the positions I am interested in, my phone was ringing every 10~20 minutes. Once you optimized your resume for a few jobs in your field (optimize for all and not only 1) using JobScan, put your resume on popular job websites. Wait and see what happens. I needed one iteration, but if the magic did not happen after 7 days, go back and optimize your resume for 3 other similar roles. If you get rejected in interviews, that is unfortunate but if you do not even make it to the interview, professional resume writing (I paid under $100) and JobScan work like a charm. I have found a job and would not need JobScan anymore but I am going to pay the subscription fee, just to support the team behind JobScan

Used this site, initially the free then upgraded to the premium version. Definitely worth it. Subscribe to their YT, LinkedIn channels too. So great freebies there.

The key word search platform is amazing that it helps you properly scrutiny the ATS roadblocks in advance. The subscription is so affordable and the customer service teams are utmost professional and filled with empathy.

I figured I knew what I was doing, just create a resume that tells potential employers what I'd done and what experience I had and I was in good shape. Well, I didn't know what I didn't know, it turns out that resume creation is a very specialized skill. In order to get in the door and actually talk to a person your resume needs to stand out amongst what may be hundreds of other candidates. Jobscan will help you through this process and help you craft a resume that opens doors and gets you interviews. I was able to find a job using a resume that I tweaked with Jobscan's help, I really don't think that I would have been able to even get an interview without using Jobscan.

Wonderful collection of tools to help compare your resume against the position you want!

Awesome product! Helped me land an internet and a job!

The title says it all. After many months of job searching and not hearing back from anyone, I learned about Jobscan. I put my resume in, thinking it was a pretty strong resume, just to see a 28% match to the job description. I went to work re-tooling my resume for jobs, taking a quality over quantity approach. It worked! I used Jobscan to apply to 3 jobs. I heard back from two of them, and one of those hired me! Given the fact that, before that, I was using the same resume to apply to hundreds of jobs and not hearing back? That's a great result. I definitely took a second to swallow the cost of the application, but given that I am getting a pretty serious raise with the new job - It's worth it!
