I am often suspect of over positive reviews as once upon a time a company offered me products and cash for a positive review. Let me assure you that this review of Jewelry This is honest, genuine, from my heart and not being compensated. Several months ago I had the harebrained idea to create a real diamond ring from a costume ring my girlfriend purchased at Macy’s. I secretly took photos of her ring and shopped several local jewelry stores who claimed to create custom jewelry in hopes of recreating her ring with real diamonds and white gold. One particular large diamond store in San Francisco promised they could duplicate it from my photos. It was a disaster. The center diamond was wrong, the cast was off, it was a terrible experience and I had to fight to get my deposit back. After tangling with 3 other local jewelers, ChatGPT helped me find Jewelry This who claimed to recreate custom jewelry. I was reluctant at first to work with an “online” jewelry store that “claimed” to specialize in recreating lost and stolen jewelry from old photographs. I anticipated my re-creation was going to cost several thousands of dollars and was hesitant to engage with some unknown website entity from San Diego California. Reluctantly I contacted them and was paired with designer Carrie. After a few guarded text messages we spoke on the phone and after about 20 minutes I knew then I had found the right organization. Carrie was amazing. She “got it.” She knew my journey, she knew what I wanted. She represented me. I explained my struggles and she said, “this is supposed to be exciting and fun!” And after my previous hellish experiences, that’s just what she did. It took several weeks of drawings and photos back and forth but I finally approved the final product. Unfortunately, when it arrived and I saw it in real life, I had missed a critical dimension on the ring and it was off from the original. It was totally my fault. After discussing the problem with Carrie, the team went back to work, They preserved the original diamonds, gave me metal credit for the ring and casted and created another ring with the new and accurate dimensions. The second attempt was perfect. The duplication of the original, the quality of the product, the workmanship, the customer support and customer service can not be paralleled. Carrie and Jeweler This were and are amazing. I’m not sure that I will ever re-create another custom 4+ carat diamond ring in the future, but if and when I do, there will be no shopping. I’m calling Carrie and Jewelry This!!

Tricia was very attentive and patient with the requests, details and execution of the ring. Every last detail was down to my most minute of specifications, and every detail was met. Not only that, but working on an odd schedule myself, it was hard getting together with Tricia at the same hours to no fault of hers. But she still sent messages back in a timely fashion and even put a rush on my ring so it could be here in time for my proposal. I will be getting all custom jewelry through Tricia and the JewelryThis team!

If I could give them 7 stars, I would! They helped me to create the "beyond-perfect" engagement/wedding ring to place on the finger of the single most important person in my life, and the piece is truly a fabulous expression of how beautiful she is and the depth and meaning of our relationship. Carrie (the designer) and Jewelry This accomplished this for us starting with nothing more than a vague idea for the ring and the multi-faceted symbolism I wished to incorporate in its design. From the very start, great communication with them and my designer; detailed, in most cases almost real-time (although it's through their internal messages board), with very helpful suggestions, examples, and orientation throughout the process, including the understanding of what could and could not work in the design, and what details would and would not be best for the overall finished product. Also, price-wise, they came in at less than half of what I had expected to pay for the piece, in spite of using the absolute highest-quality materials (upon which I insisted repeatedly, "price-is-no-object" style) and expert craftsmanship to fabricate it, as is now clearly evidenced on my beloved's ring finger. They are completely trustworthy insofar as how the payment structure and process works, and they will produce and ship your perfect piece of custom jewelry in a timely and cost-efficient manner. If you want to make the absolutely perfect piece of jewelry according to whatever most personal and cherished idea you have of the same, then go to Jewelry This; you won't be disappointed!
