I live in a Toll Brothers community with approximately 150 homes. All had Jen Air appliances installed by the builder. I'd say the complete failure rate of one or more appliance in the community is pushing 30 to 40% within 3 years. Toll Brothers must have gotten a great deal on these inferior products. There's an extremely long wait for a service call and always a part is needed that isn't available for weeks. Most just replace them. Stay away...

New $15k fridge/freezer ruins all my wife’s food. Reached out for warranty and there is a problem with the design with the freezers compressor and no solution. Was told to use vacuum seal bags to fix the problem JennAir won’t. Brand new home with a kitchen built around this fridge and we are storing our food in the 20 year old garage freezer so it isn’t ruined. Model is the 48” side by side fridge freezer JBSS48E22L

Microwave sensor failed in few months and now a year later my whole range hood came unglued . Wires hanging out so unsafe

7000$ wall oven/microwave combo. Never worked since installed. Bought extended warranty even at purchase. (irony is never worked to begin with)/. They have sent a repair shop 4 times with every part he could replace and still the microwave doesn't work. Jenn air first tried to say the warranty was only good for "service", then they needed a form from repair company, now they need to "talk" to the repair company. And they want another repair tech to have a look. All the while I bought a 100$ costco microwave to use on my counter that works fine by the way while this drama goes on for 3 months now. My advice, don't buy their products. If they work and break down, good luck, and in my situation, never worked since inception and they are doing everything they can to not replace it.

The control panel went out and essentially bricked our wall oven/microwave combo. Jennair says the repair part is on back order. They even pretended to ship one to our local rapir business, but it never showed up. We are 3 months without the use of our appliance. They are supposed to be a good company, but I think you roll the dice when you buy from them. I’m not taking my chances on another Jennair product.

If I could give it zero stars I would. JennAir double ovens should last at least 20 years. I am now on my 4th control panel with the first one failing with in 3 years. What a joke. This company is Whirlpool so save your money because if you're thinking you're getting a higher quality item it's not. It is all the same parts just a different outer handle to make it look like its not Whirlpool.

For a premium brand, I was completely disappointed by the quality and workmanship of the appliances. I renovated my kitchen and purchased the latest Jenn-Air appliances such as, speed oven microwave (garbage btw), wall oven, gas top, dishwasher and fridge. With the exception of the gas top and wall oven, all the appliances came with a defect or performance issue. The worst was our speed oven which was effectively completely ovehauled within less than a year of owning it!!! The dishwasher arrived damaged and took a couple of months for the replacement door to arrive (only to have a defective panel to arrive and subsequently waiting several more months for a replacement). Then the fridge had a pinhole in the door and the bottom fridge door panel was not properly assembled and had sharp edges. Absolutely ridiculous for a "premium" brand. I purchased all the appliance and received them over Christmas 2025. Identified the issues in January for the fridge and its now september 2026, still no ETA on the replacement fridge panels. Never in my life have i had so many challenges with an appliance brand. Sounds like its a common theme with this brand. STAY AWAY!!! go with anyone but Jenn-Air. I think their whilrpool brand is better than their premium.

I purchased a house May 26 with brand new Jenn-Air, appliances install by a Shea builder. Immediately the icemaker on the refrigerator was broken. Within two months my double oven and range kept tripping the circuit breaker. I suppose got that fixed, and eight months later it was doing the same thing. A after only nine months, my microwave stopped working and I had to wait and get a replacement. One year and one month after moving in the house a single wall oven also died and it will take five months to get a new oven in. The only appliance that hasn’t broken in my entire home is my Dishwasher. I have waited at home for service people more hours than I can count. I have spoke with Jennair representatives, been placed on hold, not been given follow up calls, and I’m asked to schedule with a local installer one parts to come in. When I should be enjoying a new home or a free, I’ve been given for our windows for service people to come and not resolve issues. NEVER NEVER NEVER again while I have a Jenner product in my home. Do your research on other brands before buying appliances. I’ve had 14 different homes and I have never had this kind of headache or despicable products.
