30 Jan 2024 I purchased a white gold (WG), 14k box chain from the Lenexa, KS store to enhance an $1,800 WG, 14k, 1.0 DWT, S Curved Natural Diamond Pendant. Thereafter I posted the pendant with the chain for sale on eBay 7 Jul 2026 for $849 and a buyer purchased the item for this price. Per eBay's Authenticity Guarantee program (protects buyers), items over $500 must first be sent to its authenticity program. The eBay GIA jewlery inspection report revealed that the chain, stamped 14k, was not 14k. Meaning its metal purity is less than 14k and tested as 13k. The local Lenexa, KS store advised me to contact its corporate office at 800-817-8173. I did so and submitted the eBay inspection report, photos of the chain and my Jared receipt. During the aforementioned timeframe I reposted the ad on eBay for $799 (same buyer) and the product was again, sent to eBay authentication and fully passed its inspection since the chain purity was listed correctly, and not as 14k. Noteworthy of saying...I spoke with escalation specialist Sherry who was somewhat defensive when she said, "I've been working here for seven years and nothing like this has ever happened." And, "There's no such thing as 13k," and "This usually happens with vintage items or jewlery made in Europe," and "I stand by our products." What should have initially happened...Sherry should have advised me to take the chain to the local store where I purchased it (that is what Helzberg did and they sent it to corporate for testing - with no defensive remarks nor hassles - just totally professional). Afterwards, Sherry asked me to provide the name and phone number of the inspector and details on business letterhead. eBay provided this in an email without name nor phone number, but when she learned that I no longer had the chain she closed the case- an easy out and win for her. Jared misrepresented the product and should have offered $50 in compensation or a full refund to demonstrate good faith as a goodwill customer-focused gesture, and to avoid negative publicity over a trivial $200 item.

They will sell you the world and tell you you can exchange it anytime. But the don't tell you have to spend double the price. Which the just about double the price of everyone else. Never again will I go back.

This review is regarding Jared jewelry store in Simi Valley, California. Jacob's customer service was absolutely wonderful, starting from the time I called the store on the phone to the time I had services done. He went out of his way to make sure I had what I needed, answered all my questions very politely. I will definitely go back to this store at this location and recommend others to do so especially if Jacob is working that day.

Sent a $700 ring with a missing stone so I had to return it. They charged me $49 for shipping on the initial purchase and then sent it USPS (for a less than 1 lb package) but on the return label I had to pay for UPS.

My husband has bought me several pieces of jewelry from Jared's and has always insisted on only Jared's but on 5/23/26 we visited to make a purchase and while we're there I decided to have my prior pieces inspected and cleaned. We ended up making another special order purchase while we were there. Just before leaving the salesman brought out my necklace and ring and offered to help clasp my necklace on. I didn't pay attention (hold or inspected my necklace) as he right away was trying to get me to put on. I very seldom take my necklace off but less than a week later my diamond eternity pendant fell off. Luckily I felt it fall so I didn't lose it. I took my chain off to put up until I I could get the pendant repaired. Upon taking chain off I noticed it didn't look the same. I walked in with a 14kt box chain and ended leaving with a sterling silver box chain. Obviously it jewelry was not inspected or it would have been noticed of ware on the pendant ready to break and the switch on the chain just was the final straw. Very disappointing that we spend alot of money with Jared's only to have this happen.

We took my weddings that were purchased in their Burlington Ma store (10 years ago), back to the original store in hopes of having them resized. I gave them all of the correct information needed to locate my account, and to verify I had a lifetime warranty. I literally sat in that store for a lil less than 2 hours while they pretended to search for my account. The store was going to close so out of curiosity i asked what the out of pocket cost would be. The lady said $150….EACH. With LOTS of attitude. My bridal set consists of 3 bands. I called corporate the next day, and they seemingly had zero trouble finding my account using only my last name. They also verified my lifetime warranty. What was the goal? To charge me, but actually submit it using my warranty…and somehow pocketing the difference? It was clear they werent even TRYING to find it. I was too sketched out, so im still not wearing my rings. I can’t bring myself to go back.

Lucy M. an hour ago New I’m very annoyed at the removal of your Jareds store #4073 out of the Tanger outlet in Sevierville Tn. Why would you close that store? We need. Jareds in Sevierville due to the amount of tourist we have and locals who love that store.Kay’s, Zales they just don’t compare. The people Rochelle,Johnathan, Kyle,Katrina are some of the best jewellery people around very knowledgeable one of them is a million dollar seller last year his name is Johnathan he’s assistant Manager ( easily a manager)of. Store 4073. He’s a father of 4 Sole breadwinner for his family and they can’t find a position for him? I’m very sorry to loose Jared’s I have spent a lot of money there due to the peoples knowledge of what I wanted and got for me. That’s a rare thing. So please find a store for the people of servieville Tn we need a store here. Please reconsider your decision to close the store and loose good people. Loyal customer. Lucy Masters 5/7/26
