Item never received. Constant emails from customs and FedEx
Response from Japan AvenueFeb 9, 2026
Hello Carol, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience caused by the customs and FedEx issues. Unfortunately, due to customs clearance problems in the USA, the parcel was returned before delivery. As soon as this situation was confirmed, your order was fully refunded. Please accept our sincere apologies for the frustration this may have caused. If you have any questions or need further assistance, our customer service team remains at your disposal. Wishing you a very nice day, The Japan Avenue Team

This purchase is the gift that keeps on giving. First I had to call customs to tell them I did order this. Then they asked me for further information. Now I’m getting a bill from customs. I do not recommend this site if you’re shipping to the US. It’s ridiculous, expect an additional $40 billion after paying shipping

Hello Karen, Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience caused by customs fees. Please note that import duties and taxes are set by local authorities and are unfortunately beyond our control, as they depend on the destination country’s regulations. We truly appreciate your understanding and remain available by email if you have any questions. Kind regards, The Japan Avenue Team
