The lessons are well explained and with great emphasis on you understanding what they are talking about and not making you feel that you are hopeless. I love the variety of instructors because I want to learn accustic fingerstyle blues, but I have an electric and like to work with it some. This site provides both with multiple instructors. The instructors speak so well on camara and present organized thoughts. This is not just thrown together lessons. It is well worth the fee for the advanced lessons. Beginning lessons are free , so you can see see for yourself if you will like it before paying for anything. Great site!

JamPlay is a godsend. Professionally produced. Excellent content. At first I was like "why so many instructors?" and then I started viewing the lessons. I've been a JamPlay Member for nearly a year now. Yesterday, I added a one year Bass Guitar Membership to my preexisting Guitar Membership utilizing the deal offered during the Summer Sale. I've been taking in Alex Scott's live "Bass 101" weekly events and coming along with my bass guitar playing. I hemmed & hawed for this past week, as to whether I should add the Bass side of things. Also, I wondered, because it was not at all clear, as to being eligible to receive the "Summer Bonuses". Well, I did it ! I got a great deal on bass guitar lessons and received the "Summer Bonuses" plus an additional 20 "Flavor of Rock" Tracks (Both Guitar and Bass). I downloaded the bonus tracks and checked them out and have them on file. They are wonderful, much more then I was expecting. I'm so glad I added the JamPlay Bass Membership. Thank you. Just joined Jam Play yesterday. "Overwhelming" would be a great description. I am a senior citizen attempting (again) to learn guitar. Jam Play has more info & lessons than I can possibly absorb. I intend to try, it looks great !

AS A BEGINNER GUITARIST I ALWAYS WONDER WHAT LESSONS MY TEACHER WOULD HAVE PLANNED FOR ME IF HE WAS IN FRONT OF ME AND IF HE WAS AWARE OF MY LEVEL OF SKILL. AT JAM PLAY THE TEACHERS SHOULD FOCUS ON STUDENTS INDIVIDUALLY WHO ARE FOLLOWING HIS/HER LESSONS. THEY SHOULD GUIDE STUDENTS STEP BY STEP BECAUSE SOMETIMES IT IS DIFFICULT TO DECIDE WHICH LESSONS TO PRACTICE FIRST, OR WHAT IS NEEDED MOST AT THIS MOMENT. THERE ARE LOT OF LESSONS AVAILABLE AND IT BECOMES DIFFICULT TO CONCENTRATE ON ONE. TEACHERS SHOULD COMMUNICATE WITH STUDENTS AND GUIDE THEM TO DECIDE THE LESSONS ACCORDING TO THEIR LEVEL OF SKILL. STILL A GREAT PLATFORM FOR BEGINNERS.
