This company doesn't deserve to be in…
This company doesn't deserve to be in business! Their shady credit card renewal option leaves many surprised to see the charge on their credit card, I imagine, if they forgot about the auto-renewal and maybe missed cancelling in time. I would have noticed a charge to my debit card sooner, but they only allow credit cards, and it was 1 week after the 2 wk. grace period when I asked for a refund. Perhaps I missed a reminder email, but I was away on a trip and got behind on email. They very politely and verbosely denied my refund after 2 requests, and they never responded to a Better Business Bureau complaint I filed. Therefore, I had to proceed with a credit card dispute, which I finally won! If they'd had the decency to refund earlier, maybe they could have avoided all this plus a scathing review. I've noticed that they also give very verbose responses to negative reviews, so I expect you will see that. They should just redirect their efforts to better products and customer service. If I found their services more useful, perhaps I wouldn't mind so much, but in the year I paid for higher service, I never found any flights worthwhile that I could use. If you decide to pay for the higher service, I strongly suggest you put a reminder in your calendar, and make sure you cancel correctly, as another sneaky trick is "unsubscribing" does not cancel the service.

Hey, Alice. Thanks for taking the time to reach out. We have reviewed the details of your membership to understand the particulars of your subscription and to confirm if there was any service breakdown on our end.
We do see your membership started on December 06th 2024 with a trial. When you initiate any membership with us, the date of the renewal is clearly stated on the check out page and can be confirmed by logging into your Lounge at any time.
Your renewal was on March 06th 2026 and you contacted us on March 27th 2026 requesting a refund. The agent advised that the request was outside the 14 day refund timeframe and a refund could not be granted from our end. This policy is clearly stated on our site and it was agreed to when you created the account with us. Your renewal date had not changed and it was the same date that you received your renewal in 2025.
The policy is there not only as a guideline for us but one that allows fairness to all of our members who sign up with us. It gives a very clear parameter on the expectations and one that each member falls under, so everyone is treated impartially.
We do also clearly state that unsubscribing from receiving flight emails does not cancel your membership and that this would need to be completed from your account. We disclaim this so all details are visible and understood. There are members who opt out of email offers, so they can receive app notifications or because they prefer viewing the flights in their Lounge.
We are disheartened that you feel the details were not clearly broken down enough and we will definitely do a better job of making sure that information is more upfront.

Hey, Suzette. We are so sorry to see of any issue with joining the site. We have checked through your email history and note that you contacted us on February 11th 2026 advising of an issue joining. We assisted you with a password reset and also helped with setting up your airport. You gave us a Great review on the service, so we were shocked to see this review now. We received no further emails from you since February to advise that you were still having an issue.
We reached out to you on April 23rd 2026 to confirm how we could assist further with your membership. Sadly, we have received no reply to date to advise us.
We would love to get any other issue sorted and ask that you please reply to any of the prior support emails or reach out directly to our Member Experience team at [email protected]

I am trying two things
I am trying two things. One to book a flight to Europe from Ottawa. When I looked for flights there. I didn’t even get the direct flights on Air France showing up that are the cheapest and least time. So what good is that. Next l tried to find cheap flights in Europe. Nothing special there either. Why not use Google Maps? It’s free.
Response from Jack's Flight ClubApr 20, 2026
Hey, Mike. The Jack's Flight Club service is built to constantly scour the internet and figure out IF a flight price is any good and ONLY then rapidly alert our members that there's an unexpectedly great fare available.
At that point we send out the location of how and where to buy that flight (including if necessary, the particular workarounds or hacks to get the price we've found).
If you're locked into specific times/dates or routes or airlines, in those cases Jack's service might not be for you, so running a general search on Google Flights or Trip.com is good advice and a decent way to get a sense of if you have to take particular dates, what are the best value options.
Jack's is built for travellers with a little flexibility who enjoy the inspiration and thrill of a new destination or when a bonkers price to somewhere they've been meaning to go drops into their inbox.
We use a combination of bots, machine learning, data analysis and expert human curation to scan millions of flight routes a week. Our team of expert Navigators and travellers whittles that down to only the most worthy fares with savings well under what the public pays. Over 90% of flights get discarded as unworthy and only around 1 in 5,000 make the grade to qualify as an alert, packaged with extra inspiration and expert tips on the destination.
Essentially, our experienced Navigators spend hundreds of hours a week sifting and researching so you don't have to and alert you when you should go looking on those sites so you can take advantage of lower than usual prices at the right time.
We had reached out to you with tips on making the service work for you and completely respect your right not to use them.
We're gutted that you've given us a 1 star for basically doing what we set out to do, so we'll try harder to improve our sign up pages and new joiner messages to make things clearer.

An underhand and deceitful company. Avoid!!!
***Edit***
I'm glad that Jack's Flight Club have confirmed to the world how useless they are. Let's run through this:
1) I cancelled on the app in late 2025 - there was NOTHING to say that I had to then follow additional instructions on an email. So I wasn't expecting an email. And I presumed that my app cancellation was enough.
2) The email JFC said they sent re: having to confirm cancellation on email (and which I wasn't expecting) didn't arrive. I have PROVEN that I didn't receive an email.
3) The renewal reminder which JFC said they sent didn't arrive. I have PROVEN that I didn't receive an email.
So, to recap. I thought I had cancelled on the app. NO emails were received to tell me any differently.
I do not understand what they don't understand????
I re-iterate, JFC are an incredibly underhand company. Subscribe to them at your risk.
***End edit
This has been one of the most frustrating customer experiences I’ve had.
I cancelled my subscription through the app in December, yet I was still charged again come January. I always received standard JFC emails before the premium subscription, so when these kept coming through, this seemed normal.
When I saw the new charge however I contacted support. They claimed I had been sent an email to complete the cancellation after the app process. I never received such an email. When pushed, they also said I was sent a renewal reminder, I never received such an email.
Let’s be clear: if a customer never receives an email, that is not the customer’s fault. Simply stating “our system shows it was sent” is not proof of delivery, and it certainly isn’t a valid excuse to charge someone or refuse a refund.
I raised this multiple times and even showed evidence when requested, then MORE evidence when further requested that no such email ever arrived. Despite this they repeated the same scripted response and refused to properly investigate or take responsibility. Instead, they shifted the blame entirely onto me saying that their system said it was sent and they can't help what happens to it once it is sent.
Charging customers after cancellation and then hiding behind automated systems and unverified email delivery is unacceptable.
At best, it shows a complete lack of accountability. At worst, it feels like a deliberate, deceptive and underhand way to avoid issuing refunds.
There was no meaningful support, no ownership of the issue, and no attempt to resolve it fairly.
I would strongly warn others to be very cautious. If anything goes wrong, don’t expect them to take responsibility or treat you reasonably.
For the sake of £30 they've entirely destroyed their legitimacy with me. I will now be approaching my bank for the chargeback I am owed.
Joke of a company.

Hey, Oliver. Thanks for getting in touch and giving us an opportunity to look into this matter further for you. We definitely always want to ensure there was no service failure and that all proper investigations were completed.
We see that you contacted us on March 30th 2026 advising that there was a prior cancellation but that you were still charged. The agent reviewed your account history and updated you there was no previous cancelation noted, confirmed that we can definitely cancel the billing on our end for you and provided the date your sub would downgrade. We also asked that you provide the confirmation of the cancellation that you would have received in 2025, so we could further look into it for you. As you were outside the 14 day refund timeframe, a refund could not be offered. It was noted that your billing was on January 22nd 2026. You informed us that you received no confirmation of the cancellation completed in 2025, so one could not be provided to us.
The agent further checked your account history, outside of our system and directly with the processor. A screenshot was provided to you from the processor that there was no cancellation in 2025. The screenshot indicated the cancellation done from the agent on March 31st 2026. We also provided screenshots from our system which showed the renewal reminder which was sent to you on December 25th 2025 and the cancellation confirmation from March 31st 2026. Separate screenshots from different systems which advised that cancellation was done in 2026. These are not cases of us simply stating that our systems show they were sent and when actions were completed. These are instances of proof from our system as well as the processor.
We pride ourselves on our member experience and integrity and will always take accountability when needed. To say that we would not take responsibility is simply not the truth. We have many 5 star ratings which attest to our integrity but also persons who have been refunded, even in cases where they forgot about the membership. The matter has been reviewed by the Management team, as you had requested, and we sadly could not provide a refund in this instance for a charge that was completed in January and after investigation was done in our system, as well as with the processor.
We completely respect your right to reach out to your bank regarding this matter and though we wish this was not the case based on the evidence provided, would never discourage you from seeking assistance with them.
We appreciate your time and giving us this opportunity to further thoroughly review your case.

Not much use to me
I have only gotten one Flight Club newsletter since I enrolled in November of last year and found little of use to me in it. I regret having spent the money for the newsletter.
