IXL is a horrible way for kids to learn because it is very time consuming, it gives kids anxiety, the point system is TRASH, and it overall is formatted badly.

IXL is real trash. They lower your score over one small mistake to 50% from 90% and it makes me uncomfortable. If your school uses this trash, discontinue it and move to Iready or Xtramath.

IXL is one of the most boring and frustrating learning websites ever. It feels like you have to answer a million questions just to finish one skill. Even when you get most of the questions right, your score can drop a lot if you make a few mistakes. It gets annoying when you keep answering questions and your score barely goes up. Sometimes the questions are confusing, and it feels like IXL cares more about making you reach a certain score than actually helping you learn. The worst part is when you think you are almost done, but then you get a question wrong and have to answer even more questions. It can make you want to quit because it takes so long to finish. Another problem with IXL is that it gets repetitive really quickly. You can spend a long time answering the same kinds of questions over and over again. Instead of making learning fun, it makes schoolwork feel like a punishment. I understand that practicing is important, but there should be better ways to help students learn without making them stare at a screen forever. IXL can also be stressful when your teacher tells you to reach a certain smart score and you keep getting questions wrong. It feels like you spend more time trying to raise your score than actually understanding the subject. I wish IXL had more games, fewer repetitive questions, and a better scoring system. Overall, I would give IXL one star because it is boring, frustrating, repetitive, and sometimes stressful. I hope they make it more enjoyable for students in the future.

Why does IXL even exist? IXL is causing depression for many kids. IXL made me stay up at night trying to finish all my assignments. It would've been REAL easy if it wouldn't have kept dropping my score till 50! Unlike IXL, Zearn gives us second chances. All the people using IXL have to waste money for member ship while they are causing themselves or their kids mental health issues.

I wish I could give a zero-star review, but I cannot. If I could, I would. IXL is by far the worst learning platform, and whoever made it is a disgrace to society. Its software is insanely bad, and they say you're wrong when you're not. For example, I had finally reached 92 on the smart scale after an hour wasted of my life doing IXL, and this stupid platform brought me back to 50. Why? because i wrote 5 instead of 5.0. This app isn't only rage-baiting but insanely Preposterous.

I’m in 4th grade, and it’s torture. I remember one time I was doing an English lesson, I can’t remember what the lesson was, but I was struggling. I would get up to 95, I miss one question, and drop down to 73. IXL is so bad to children that even North Korea refuses to use it as a torture device.
