I am a student and we constantly have to get IXL assignments and it all ways takes forever. It is very bad for children's mental health and has caused depression in some kids. I went and looked at reviews for this app on a different website and I didn't see a single positive review on the whole site. Every one gave it 1 star but the website still gave it 5 stars which makes me think that IXL paid them to give them good ratings. IXL constantly tells you one thing and then says you got it wrong when you put what it told you in. It rewards completion over comprehension and I wish I could give it a negative review but I can't. Don't get. If you have it then delete it. And to that one guy who said that we give it bad reviews because we are dumb, I may be in 7th grade but I guarantee you Im smarter than you and my friend has a school psycologist mom who says it is horrible so GET OUT

ixl... this could possibly the worst app possible

Why is it that when I answer a question correctly, I only get like 2 points, while getting one wrong means that my DumbScore goes from 99 to 85? I'm not convinced that this was made to help kids learn. I genuinely believe that this garbage website was made to rage bait already-stressed out high schoolers. And boy did they do a good job at it.

IXL is a tool for students to learn not to lose hope and think there dumb. IXL is giving children less hope everyday. In ixl if your at 98% you get 1 question wrong down to 84% and back to hard questions and teachers believe if you got something wrong you dumb or need help .But please IXL is the problem giving you questions over the year your in.

This is just torture for middle schoolers. Imagine this you are at 98% you are almost done with your assignment and then you get something wrong and your score goes down to a 74% and lower and lower. This website causes depression and anxiety, I wish I could sue the website, and they mislead the school system into believing that it is the best learning tool, this is just hell as a website. I hope IXL gets sued and removed from all schools.

If I could I would sign a petition to ban ixl, terrible advice from the examples and videos, it is torture and that is a lot, coming from an 11 year old, the ads are corny and ragebaiting, learning was fun but when ixl came I hung up the towel.

THIS IS HORRIBLE. Everytime my students miss a question, mate they lose like 20 points. Also, this application is better than i-ready which gave my 7th graders 1st grade math (which is why im giving it 2 stars). Do not try
