Company reels you in with the idea you'll have 12 dates in 6 months. Almost 2 years in and I still have 4 dates left. While you'd think telling a matchmaker what you're looking for would help with matches, multiple of the dates they set me up on shared no common interests with me. You're better off using any free version of an app. -an annoyed customer since 6/12/2024

I used your service 2 years ago and resumed it because of the good, nice experience I had working with you guys. I am definitely satisfied with the service; however, I have only had one date so far since subscribing over a month ago. Since I trust in the system, I believe more matches will come soon. I would appreciate it if you could help me have more dating opportunities. Thank you, IJL!

I spent a significant amount of money with It’s Just Lunch and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Given the cost of this service, my expectations for communication and follow-through were very reasonable. When I signed up, the salesperson told me I would receive six dates within six months. After signing the contract, I learned the company actually gives themselves up to one year to provide those six matches. Even with that extended timeline, I had not been sent on a single date after 10 months. I had to repeatedly call and email just to get responses, and eventually had to demand to speak with a manager. At the one-year mark, I still had not received the six promised dates. When I asked for a refund, it was denied and I was told they would simply continue trying to provide matches. Nearly two years later, I had only gone on four total dates before deciding to leave the program. Communication throughout the process was extremely inconsistent, with weeks or even months passing without responses. I also specifically requested to be matched with men who share my Christian faith. I was assured this could be accommodated, yet none of the matches I was sent identified as Christian. For the price of this service, I expected professionalism, honesty about timelines, and consistent communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I’m sharing this so others can fully understand the timeline, expectations, and level of communication before committing financially.

Terrible service, I used them years ago paid a ton of money for quality dates, got 2 crappy date. they hook you up with any other paying customer. Spoke with management to try to get a refund, there is no refund. He put my service on hold for 6 months to a year, said I could resume whenever. When I called back to resume, they never answered my calls - the commercial and radio adds are full of crap. They are not listening to you they are just throwing whomever paid at you. You are better of on plenty of fish and that's super low level.

I am not one to write reviews, until I’ve exhausted all options to seek to rectify a situation as I know we are all human. However, after 4 conversations with different individuals within the company, including the Director of Matchmaking, Mike E, ending with dismissal and no response, I felt you should know what you’re paying for. After meeting with the consultant, and being rather excited for what I was signing up for, I quickly learned what a scam this is. The sales consultant oversold the platform based on an assumption that I was willing to go over the criteria I set. After rectifying the criteria, I noticed it went months without a match. When I was sent 2 men, I realized I could have had better luck spending the time on a dating apps. Both men did not know how to take a professional picture (one was in his bedroom) and after asking them why they don’t couch the men on their expectations for pictures, they said they do.. When I escalated it further, I was told I wouldn’t have been qualified (29 year old) if they would have known I wasn’t looking for men over 40. After multiple conversations simply asking for the months back onto my membership that were lost due to the mistake on sales consultant or a refund, they went silent. I’m disappointed to say I didn’t do as much research as I should have because it’s no wonder they just settled a lawsuit on practices. I do not recommend.

TRASH is not even close enough to describe this company. You will not hear from them. For over a month I have been sending emails and not gotten a single date. They speak contract but don't provide any services and no refunds. Expensive and waste of your time and money. More frustrating that Walmart customer service on Black Friday. TRASH!!!
