The service has been great so far. When I joined, I had a date very quickly. The staff are very professional.

Had a date Saturday evening. Went to the location in Pittsburgh a Chinese restaurant and thank god I went in early. I asked about the reservation that was supposed to be made by ijl representative Lisa. I was told there was no reservation made for either party. So I had to make the reservation for the 6 pm reservation so the date wouldn't leave. So at 6 pm Saturday we both meet there and we were seated. So I spent thousands of dollars with this so called professional dating service. With this date I noticed the same things that took place with my past dates. As we were there she stated Lisa contacted her and asked if she was in Florida or Pittsburgh she stated Pittsburgh and with that they asked her if she would go out on a date with me. And on Friday before the date Mike contacted her and told her all about me is what she said.and she said I take it you and Mike are close in said only from the site. Everything went good until the 2 hour time hit and she said excuse me I need to use the restroom ok. She returned back and all of the sudden her phone was texting and she said excuse me its my daughter and I will have to leave. I noticed in all 4 of my matches it is the dame routine they get up and leave. I also noticed they can't match you up with someone in their data base and they have to recruit from their past members. I feel like they are playing games with our hearts and minds. At first they matched me up with absolutely someone different than I asked for. They always make the meeting around the area where they are located never mutual meeting places and surely the place where the other wants to go. To be honest I really don't think my mind is playing games with me I believe they are playing with my mind. I been with ijl for almost 18 months and its been nothing but a bunch of wast of my time and money. It makes me feel like they pay ladies to go on dates with you to just use up your dates and time with them. To be honest I respect Mike I just feel its just a big game they are playing to get you to move forward in a different direction of dating. I personally wouldn't do this again I am out of thousands of dollars and more with dealing with fraudulent dates. So I would look at their reviews and really just look for a different dating platform. I been so discouraged with this so called dating service since I joined with them I was very skeptical about joining the company when Jennifer contacted me 2 years ago because of the reviews I have read and here 2 years later I fall into the same situation as the rest of the people who are very disappointed with ijl. Last but not least I feel I could of done better on my own finding a date I just thought since it was supposed to be a professional dating service I would go with them trust me there isn't nothing professional about them. The only thing professional about them is they are pretty good in getting your money from you. Once you paid trust me you barely hear from them until you start threatening them and then they just throw anyone towards you and they mark that as a date even if you don't accept it that is very far from professional company. I would just highly recommend you to find your own date you will be better off. I wouldn't recommend this company to my x and I really can't stand her that should tell you the entire story about ijl. I paid $7,000 for what was supposed to be a highly personalized matchmaking experience, and I’m extremely disappointed. Out of the four matches I received, none reflected the standards I clearly communicated—particularly around fitness, attractiveness, and lifestyle compatibility. These are not minor preferences; they were core to what I was looking for. Even more troubling is that the company claims to refine matches based on client feedback after each date. In reality, that process did not happen. I discovered that new dates were being arranged before they had even received or processed my feedback from prior matches. That completely undermines the value proposition of a “customized” service. I raised concerns twice and was met with little more than, “we have another date for you,” rather than any meaningful adjustment or acknowledgment. At this price point, I expected a thoughtful, evolving matchmaking process. Instead, it felt impersonal and inefficient. I would strongly caution others before investing in this service.

I have been with IJL for a few months now and have been on 2 dates and both dates went well but we did not exchange numbers. Mainly because the date and I decided there was no interest to continue chatting. The booking process was seamless. However, I do wish they had more options for partner resturaunts near me

If I could give 0 stars, I would. IJL is a complete scam. I tried the service four years ago, and the matches were terrible. They recently contacted me again, claiming they had members they wanted to match me with, but this time it was FREE but I couldn't see photos first. That was a huge mistake. Not only did the matches fail to meet my physical preferences, but they also didn't align with the other qualifications and characteristics I had clearly communicated. Once again, it was a complete waste of my time. I would not recommend this service to anyone. You're far better off using online dating platforms, where you have control over who you're interested in and can make informed decisions for yourself.

Still waiting to be matched up with somebody that shares the same interest as I do. Very hopeful that my Match Maker will find somebody soon.
