Marina is a great matchmaker! Really fine tuned what I should be looking for and helped find a great match

I was recruited by Jake 2 years ago this coming December. I ended up agreeing to sign up and paid more $$$ than was a good idea on my income. I have not met half of my promised 12 meetings. My last one was in July 2023. Despite being told I'll be offered one meeting a month I have not heard a peep, even to just check in and say there are no men in my age group at the moment. I actually received a solicitation e-mail about signing up!!! IJL stinks and is a fraud. I am requesting reimbursement by December 2023 or my next step is the BBB. Jean King

It's Just Lunch provided me with a fabulous Matchmaker! Hazel has made my experience both seamless and fun. Attention to detail is important to me and Hazel has that in spades. More than anything, I trust Hazel which is essential in the matchmaking process.

Nice venue to meet a date. Quiet atmosphere. The waiters extremely polite!!!

I went on my first date that my matchmaker Marina set up and it was a great first experience! Everything was a good fit except for the physical chemistry which is not something you will know until you meet. I had a lovely evening and am excited about what my next match will be like. Marina asks good questions and is very interested in helping me find my person. I am glad I signed up!

Paige at IJL has worked very hard to help in my search for a friend and companion. She is always in touch and is an excellent listener who will take all the time try and understand just what I am feeling and what it is that I want in person I might spend the rest of my life with.

Honestly - what a scam. Signed me up for 12 dates in 12 months early in 2021. I did one virtual date with a guy who was extremely rude. Then couldn’t find me another date. When I asked for my money back after several months, they said they had an indefinite period to provide the dates within! Nearly 3 years on and I’m getting married to someone I met via an ordinary dating app. Maybe they don’t have enough U.K. clients on their books but they should be up front about that. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Ps The dishonesty in their reply claiming is exceeded a hold period (because they couldn’t find me a second date) tells you all you need to know about this company

I signed up for the 12 plus 2 matches, so total of 14 "matches" with It's Just Lunch in Houston, TX and was not pleased with the experience. They only have a limited pool of men to match and if they don't have a match they will just throw someone in. I had one date where the guy asked me if I knew a doctor that would prescribe pain medication. He arrived to the restaurant via bus and had already order a full meal by the time I got there and his card also declined for his portion of the meal. Next bad date the guy couldn't wait to leave, out of my age range and nothing of interest with me. The other dates were just mildly better than these two awful ones. Please know they do not vet any of these matches, one guy they said he worked as a software designer, he was customer service at AT&T. Another guy was in medical field and actually was unemployed. The last match was said to be an accountant I believe and he turned out to be a personal trainer. Two actually lived at home with their parents. Nothing wrong with that but had I known ahead of time, I may have saved myself an hour plus dinner. Don't get me wrong, there were a few men that were employed and had a personality but it definitely wasn't the full 12 or more matches.
