I’ve been a user of Ironbeam and Firetip for more than 10 years. Recently I’ve had horrible delays with fund withdrawal and poor access to customer service (I’ve been waiting for thousands of dollars for more than 3 weeks, they blamed a bad address and then tried to charge me $35 for a new check) and decided to try TD Ameritrade. I don’t think I’ll ever look back.

Frank, Thank you for the review. In this case, you had provided us with an incorrect address on your account application, so when you submitted a check withdrawal via mail the check went to the said wrong address. A copy of the account application was sent to you both when you originally completed it and when we reviewed the withdrawal for error. The bank that holds our customer funds charges a fee for stopping payment on a check and it is outlined in the Ironbeam Fee Schedule. If the bank didn't charge for stopping payment we would not have a charge for it. We're sorry that you're leaving with a sour taste in your mouth.
