The fireplace would not work in any room but in a fair sized room or bigger it is truly amazing looking. I'm proud to have it in my home. My installer informed me it arrived without the hardware that the drictions stated. They bought the hardware that of course I paid for. We expected the item to arrive at least a week earlier that led to issues with our installers. All in all it's an impressive looking piece of art.

Beautiful molding.

I did like that I got questions answered however I paid $25 to have a hole drilled and it came with no hole. Plus it’s too big so I want to exchange it

Columns assembled incorrectly Ordering and delivering were great - no problems there. My complaint is that the column bases (which have a wider ~6.5" side and a narrower ~6" side) were attached differently, relative to the Ionic capital; one column had the wider side of the base facing the same direction as the capital, while the other had the thinner side of the base in the same position. The result is that the 2 columns profiles do not match and I have to cut down the size of the bases myself to get matching columns. A negligent mistake - Ionic capitals are not symmetrical all the way round so if the base is not of equal width and depth (as in this case) it's important they get attached in the same way.

Received the items in really prompt time line. Overall Item was great, just absolutely the wrong size I had to return item and really don't understand why I didn't receive a full refund. I paid for shipping and put it in better box than it came in!! There was one telephone call and one boilerplate email. That was over $30 from refund!! Really?

I have mixed opinions about the product. It is well assembled but not particularly well crafted. The distinction is important. The materials (maple and inset metal mounting brackets) are solid and have sufficient quality. Its proportions and detailing, however, make it a bit cartoonish in appearance. Could it be refined using similar means of production and price point? Perhaps larger examples of the design don't suffer in the same way as mine.

The larger piece had the tail of it broken off. I am not sure what the resolution is at this time. I can send you the picture if you want.

Our experience with inviting home is mixed. Albert, the representative that helped us complete our order was competent and professional. He was a great help in getting the Newell posts ordered that we required. Upon our purchase on January 14, he advised that the posts would be delivered in 7 to 10 business days. I made arrangements with my contractor to have them finished and installed expecting them to arrive on January 29. On January 29 when I contacted Invitinghome I was informed that the posts had not shipped because the warehouse had been extremely busy. Invitinghome did not contact me or advise of the delay, and this caused difficulties with the completion of our remodeling project. The posts arrived on February 4. When the Posts arrived they were very nice looking, but either had been put together sloppily at Invitinghome or were damaged in the shipping as two of them were separating at the joints. Fortunately my contractor is skilled and he repaired the damage and the posts are now ready to be finished. Before finishing my contractor had to sand the posts as they were not finish ready. All in all not a terrible experience, but it could have been better if Invitinghome had communicated the delay arrangements could have been made with our contractor.
