Roots is my first venture into REIT investing. Roots has a unique market application of helping the renter to become an investor. The interface with the Roots site is easy access, and the tables and graphs helpful so you know where you stand. It is not a quick in, quick out investment due to an early withdrawal penalty. But overall, very satisfied with the opportunity.

I am so thrilled to be investing with Roots. It was easy to get started. Their website is easy to navigate and contains a ton of information, both financial and featuring the properties they acquired. Any questions you may have are quickly answered. I had a question about documentation, and Stephen, the CFO, emailed me information within one day. This is my first investment of this kind and I love the fact that it is a win-win situation for the company, the renters and the investors. I can confidently recommend this company to all who want to earn money while enhancing the lives of others.

Everything thing they have said has been true. Returns have been high(though past performance is no guarantee of future results, like with any investment). I get my quarterly payment, on time with no issues. If the company does what they say and they pay me when they say they will, not sure what else anyone can ask for.

They claimed "average 16% return", this might be true for the past years.

Been invested a few months and I am looking forward to withdrawing my investment after the 1 year mark so I won't have to pay solid 6% early withdrawal fee (hundreds of dollars for me). Earning are annualized 12-16% (less than $40 per quarter for me) so the fee would take hudreds more than you can earn. Company is disorganized and makes it difficult to get monthly dividend earnings and it was advertised for its dividend income. Busy business owners definitely shouldn't waste their time when there are other REIT investments that pay the same or higher dividends distributed monthly with no issues. Seems that Roots is only worth it if you're a renter in one of their units getting rental payment discounts. Website navigation is also sorely lacking. Roots charges a $5 fee for every contribution, which is average as some REITs charge more but a few don't charge at all.
