I was deactivated for 30 days for being a no-show on my last job on New Year's Eve day 2025, but there were issues with the times on the Instawork app and the app logged me out, ending the job I was working at that time, two hours early from my actual end time. For example: I had several jobs scheduled for that day which I had to drive at least an hour to for each one. I had been noticing that after I had threatened to file a wage claim grievance with the Texas Workforce Commission and U.S. Department of Labor for non-payment for over $500 I was owed in pay by Instawork that I was not paid in October to November 2025, my time clock on my Instawork app began to tell me I had two hours less to do my jobs than I actually had. For example, it would say I had six hours left to complete my jobs when I actually had "8" hours. Or, that my job was starting in 8 hours when it wasn't actually starting for ten hours. I never had those issues until I challenged my pay! They ignored me for weeks about it and I do not play when it comes to my money. I told them I earned my money, had records of my days and hours I was owed for, and was going to file on them to get it. Only then did I start having issues with the time clock on the app. And had it not been shorting my hours by two hours (where it would automatically log me out of the app) I would not have been a no-show to the last job. But, that is not the only issue with Instawork. The app shows I was also a no-show on January 7, 2026 as well, for a Footprints Solutions jobs at Dollar General from 5:30 PM -7:30 PM. Yet, all Footprints Solutions jobs at all Dollar General Stores had strict time constraints: 8:00 A.M to 6:00 P.M., but could be completed any time between those hours. But, the job absolutely had to be completed by 6:00 PM, and could not be started any later than 3:30 PM to be completed by 6:00 PM. Not only did I not ever have a job I scheduled on January 7, 2026, but it is impossible to have had a job scheduled on January 7, 2026 for those specific hours of 5:30 PM -7:30 P.M. because Dollar General was strict on the hours that Footprint Solutions could actually work, and those hours are NOT hours at all that would be a scheduled shift! I was retaliated against and deactivated not because I was not showing up. I was actually deactivated in retaliation for fighting for my money owed to me and knowing my rights and remedies of actions to pursue to get my money when they didn't want to pay. Lastly, my 30-day deactivation was NOT a "30-day" deactivation; Instawork has not reactivated my account nor will they respond to a single inquiry as to WHY I was not reactivated when after the 30 days nor will they accept responsibility for the January NO-SHOW that was not even a scheduled job. II have screenshots to prove what I say is true but there is no where to post them here.

I like that I've been able to pick jobs close to home and that they pay decent.

No customer support! I have waited over 2 months to get the help that I need about my background, but there has been no answer! Don't sign up if you want to be ignored.
