The mechanic himself was great and did the job quickly (other than some minor damage to the housing). However, he was about 6 hours late. The over the phone agents lied to me several times about when he would arrive, and would not allow me to cancel the service after 5 hours had passed without show from the mechanic. I was also charged for an additional hour of service before the mechanic even arrived, which I was forced to pay. Absolutly ridiculous and awful.

I hit road debris that ended up busting the seal on my differential on an early Sunday morning about 6 hours from my home. I was trying to find someone who could do repairs that day to get me back on the road. The first mobile mechanic group I called was knowledgeable and honest. They told me they didn't have the capability to fix my issue. (Dallas Mobile Mechanics for those in need). I then called this company to see if they could handle it. After asking the lady on the phone if this was something they could fix, she said yes but she recommended I get a diagnosis even though I already knew my issue? Which was an extra $135 that I didn't need to spend since I already knew I had oil leaking from my differential. I was just happy she said they could fix it. So I booked them and the extra $150 rush service to get home that day. This was 6AM in the morning. The mechanic showed up at 5PM. This was after I was told they would try and get someone before 11AM. I had to call them back to confirm that someone would or would not come in early. They should have called me but I bet I got lied to and they didn't even try for an early mechanic. When I called back at 7:30AM I was told it would be 11am. When I called at 2PM to see why I have not heard from anyone at 11AM. I was then told the mechanic was on his way to me then. Then I got the real call he was headed to me at 4:30PM. I would highly avoid this company. They were after my dollar and lied along the way to get it. Record your phone call when you ask if they can fix your issue. I wish I would have. Might have saved me $300 and a wasted day.

🚨 SCAM ALERT – DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! 🚨 I had an absolutely terrible experience with Instant Car Fix, and I want to warn others before they waste their money. I paid $285 for a pre-purchase vehicle inspection, including an extra $100 for same-day service—but what I received was completely unacceptable. A professional pre-purchase inspection should include a detailed report covering the engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, accident history, and overall condition of the vehicle. Instead, Instant Car Fix sent me: ❌ A few random pictures (which I could have taken myself). ❌ A single vague sentence from the mechanic saying, "everything is good, just the motor mount needs change later besides that the car is fine 100/100.” ❌ No actual inspection details, no diagnostics, and no professional evaluation. When I reached out to their customer service (multiple times), they kept giving excuses and blamed "technical glitches," yet they failed to provide the detailed report I paid for. They also refused to issue a refund for the extra money I paid for expedited service despite not delivering it on time. I kept calling customer service and their online number after I received the report and no one responded. I honestly cannot believe the positive reviews on here are real. Based on my experience, I highly suspect these are fake or paid reviews. My experience was nothing like what they claim to offer. 🚨 DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. 🚨 If you need a real pre-purchase inspection, I recommend using another reputable service. I will be filing complaints with the Florida Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. If you have also had a bad experience, report them and dispute the charge with your bank or credit card company. Don't let them scam more people!

They are not responsive. Don’t take ownership of problems or try to solve them. Lied. Terrible service overall. Do not use. They charged exorbitant rates and then actually broke the light switch on our vehicle while trying to fix the ignition. They would not fix it and would not connect me with a senior manager. The “manager” I was speaking with claims to be the owner, but wouldn’t even give his name. What owner would not give his name??? We wasted an entire day on waiting for them. The mobile tech arrived hours late. No apologies from anyone. Communication was terrible. No accountability or ownership by anybody we spoke with to solve the problem or even attempt to make us happy.
