Your oxygen unit does a great job; however, we’ve had three breakdowns in two years. You have replace the units. It is excellent service. Looks like we’ll need to buy additional warranty service before July of next year.

I love being able to be away from home with my Inogen. I can carry it over my shoulder or in the basket on my walker. Bulky metal oxygen tanks were too big for this 84 year old lady to carry around.

I love my G-4
I love my G-4, it allows me to continue my volunteer work, take trips without worry; just pick up and go whenever I want.
My only hold back is the operating temps of not below 41 degrees or above 91 degrees. Tomorrow is Sunday, my temp is forecast to be 29 with much lower wind chill. That means I will have to lug a bigger, heavier oxygen bottle to be able to go. But I am thankful that I have the means to be able to do that, I just couldn't do trips during the cold weather.

I recently had a breathing test at our local hospital. They gave me some replacements cannulas and they were much better then the once Inogen supplies. No kinking at the machine out port.
My portable concentrator needed replacement columns. Inogen sent them to me but it is not clear if I need to return the old ones and who will pay the return postage?

I have had the larger Inogen and was HAPPY to not have to drag a cylinder.
With the new one it is so much lighter and with COPD weight means a lot.
The small battery does not let you go out and about VERY long.
Anytime I go anywhere it is always at least 2 hrs. Dentist, Doctor and etc.
All in all trying to get used to it.

Is this about the unit itself or the company? This question is not clear. Decent treatment and little friction sounds like it pertains to the company, not the unit. So, my response is about the unit. Other than the unit being quite expensive, I don't have anything negative about the transaction or the representative.
The unit is compact and lightweight, but very noisy. I don't know why I assumed it would be quiet, but I did. With the panel lights flashing and the swishing, popping noise it can't be used in a movie theatre, quiet restaurant, museum, library, waiting room or any place where "quiet" is expected and desired.
It arrived with a piece of dirt or other substance under the display. It is annoying, but not worth the trouble, cost, or effort to return to Inogen for replacement. Their quality control folks should have caught it before sending it to me.
The carrying strap broke within 3 months of receiving the unit and I believe it to be a defect. The little metal latch to connect the strap to the unit is made of what we always called "pot metal". Just lifting it to place it in the car snapped the little latch. The latch should be made of better quality material if it is designed to carry the unit. If both latches had broken at the same time, the unit would have fallen to the ground and damaged this $3200 piece of equipment.
I have asked for a replacement strap and believe I should get it since I paid an extra $1000 for a lifetime warranty.

I love the freedom but service less than helpful
I love the freedom my unit gives me, but when I fell on the street and broke the part the plugs into to charge you all were less than helpful.
