I bought a inogen 4 shortly after having covid. I don't have to many issues with the consistrater itself it's ok but you will be sinking money into it every year if you moderately use it. My issues are with the companies agent's. Who aren't honest especially if your sick when you need something immediately. I was not able to pay for the consistrater upfront so they insisted using there financial services I agreed for 26 months I was not told about halfway into the loan If it was not paid in full it would go to a 36 month loan . It doesn't even qualify as a fair contract I guess if I had horrible credit at the time I would have no choice. But that was not the case. I just got off the phone with a agent from the the financial services company she told me it was in my contact It could have been but the way I signed it was on my phone from a email that I couldn't read it even if i wanted to. Also I was being rushed the fault lies with me in this situation its mine for not taking the time needed to read this contract that I couldn't read . Don't trust them or anyone else when there selling there products they will tell you anything you want and they depend on you and set you up not to thoroughly read the contract. I was taken advantage from this company at the time l was deathly sick . Buyers beware

I do not recommend buying from Inogen: I do not recommend buying from Inogen. I tried to have two question answered and got the runaround. I was transferred numerous times and all they wanted is me to call them instead of just answering my questions by email. They didn’t care if a person has a phone, all they want is sell you their unit. I did not tell them that i had five or six units in within a two month time. They all broke down with the with the error “Low Oxygen output. I am still waiting for of why they broke down. Very poor performance of their product and even worse customer support! Be smart and buy from a different Manufacturer. This is an update to my original comment to Inogen customer service: Inogen has been contacted several times to find out about the breakdown of the 5 units. There reply always as poor as the first reply: we will get back to you soon. Still very bad customer service. You probably will see their usual reply to this: If you have any problems with our product, please call us at ……. They sure like to talk, but don’t show any action to support their product. As said, there are different manufacturers out there with actual customer support. Here the final update to the 5 failed units from Inogen: The company finaly got back with the results of failure. The cause is air fresheners. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES USE THESE UNITS AROUND AIR-FRESHENERS, AS THEY WILL FAIL! I hope that they put this new finding in their manual or fix the problem in their sensors or filtering system, as so many people use air-fresheners in their homes. Thank you for reading.

I called for repair, I was receiving an error message that said the columns need to be replaced. I was told that the service department will call me with instructions on where to send for repair. They never called. My research showed that I could replace the columns myself, the total cost was about $110. Inogen wanted to charge me over $250.

Do not like the style . The noise is much worse than my old Imogene. Also the tubing gets cut off. Not happy with this new model.

Much heavier than expected and would prefer constant flow.

The battery goes fast. So can’t do many errands. But love the unit nice and small
