We have a at Home Oxygen Concentrator which the wife uses 24/7. If the power goes off then comes back on the concentrator does not come back on automatic, it must be manually turned back on. Say we are asleep around 1:30 - 2:00 am in the morning and do not know the power went off. She is with-out oxygen. Do you have a suggestion as what to do in this case?

I am pleased with my Inogen concentrator and the freedom it allows me. However, I find it quite heavy, as I need to use the longer life batteries, which causes either shoulder or arm soreness. My other issue is a design flaw where the tubing creases shut at the point closest to the machine. I was pinching it open several times a day until my son slid a 2 inch spring over the tubing and down to the beginning of the tubing that is slightly larger. The spring is held in place by the larger tubing, and covers the area that bends preventing it from closing. Problem solved.

I am satisfied with my Inogen one. I use it when I leave my home. The plastic tubing often becomes crimped at the point nearest to the machine. I have been able to minimize the problem, but it still exists.

Unit is great, and 12 v charger keeps the battery at 100 % when traveling. Bought the backpack and find it pretty awkward to use but works ok. Only thing I purchased that I might not buy again. Overall this is a super product. My only suggestion would be to lighten if possible, and to have it run in a in a non pulse mode for use with a cpap machine. This would be very helpful when traveling.

some problems by having to remove and replace the battery to restart.

I have the Inogen G5 which gives me so much more freedom than the canisters from the oxygen supply company. I did find it to be heavier with the double life battery than I expected causing discomfort on my shoulder. I just ordered the backpack to distribute the weight more evenly. I highly recommend this to anyone requiring oxygen.

Mine works just fine. A little heavier than I anticipated but works great.
