I purchased a rove 6. It weighs more than I thought it would. It is a quality machine and I believe it goes up to 6 liters air. Service has been great also. Would buy again, best suit for my needs!

This is my second Inogen. Compared to my first one, this new one is not nearly as good. I would think Inogen would have made improvement over the five years that I used my first one, but the quality has gone down hill considerably. The battery life is absolutely terrible. I made a big mistake by purchasing this Inogen.

Not as good or easy to use as advertised. Awkward and heavy to carry. Very expensive.

I like not having oxygen tubing on floor. I don’t like having to recharge often. My nose runs a lot when using.

I like the weight of the machine, however the beeping every few minutes drives me crazy. It is very annoying to others around me. I have called customer service twice already and they tell me that's normal.

I have a question is the battery supposed to be hot when running?
Response from InogenNov 15, 2024
Hello & thank you for contacting Inogen. Yes - it is perfectly normally for the battery to feel "hot" when the unit is running, as well as when it charging. This is caused by the chemical reactions happening inside it, which generates heat as a byproduct of converting stored chemical energy into electrical energy. However, if you feel the heat from the battery is excessive, please call us at 877-466-4364 for assistance.

Since I was unaware that the medical office was assigning me oxygen in and out of house-the adjustment has been somewhat confusing and perhaps difficult. The device works fine-as long as I avoid pushing a wrong button. It seems to supply a steady stream of oxygen through my nose nicely. My only issue has been the weight and the limited padding/performance of the carrying strap. I have only been using the machine for a few weeks, but I do think it is aiding my recovery/life.
