I like the convenience of the smaller unit, however, I have a question. I can use the unit for about 20 minutes, then the yellow light comes on to check my nose piece. It hadn't changed positions since I put it on. So I turn it off. I wait a few minutes and turn it back on. No yellow light, until about 15 minutes later, and again it tells me to check the nose piece. This upsets me very much. Therefore, I'm unhappy with this machine.

The G5 unit is great - 5 stars. But the backpack stinks. Other than having a real pouch to put sweaters, lunches, etc., it is so inferior to the G3 backpack that it's pathetic: no waist strap, no way to re-charge the battery attached to the unit without taking the unit out of the backpack (the socket is on the back of the unit and there's no access to it from the back of the backpack!), AND the mesh is already tearing at the lower left corner so I'm going to be contacting you for a free replacement!

Compared to toting oxygen cylinders around that only last maybe an hour if your sitting down and doing nothing, the Inogen unit is a pleasure to have. I have an Inogen One G3 for 17 months and the only thing I could complain about is that there is no continuous flow setting. I require a ventilator at night which will not run with oxygen connected to a pulse machine, it requires a continuous flow of oxygen. Most people do not require this. But with that said, it is a great machine. I have never had a problem with it.

Requested a car chsrger over 8 days ago as instructed called customer service n have yet to receive it. Imperative as we are over 2 hr drive from Methodist in San Anyonio Tx where my brother, Albert Morales is treated n nothing received yet. I currently own 6 of your concentrators. 3 are displaying fault signals and I have no idea how to get them repaired. My last supplier refuses to touch earlier ones not supplied by him. Is there not a general repair shop? The machines are good, of course, but too little thought goes into the accompanying covers. Every machine needs a spare battery (or 2on a plane) and a canula. I like both my units - portable and at home units. They help my breathing a lot. However the portable unit does not always keep up with what I need. Leaves me breathing hard after walking. Have to wait a few minutes to catch my breath. But it’s better than no oxygen.

excellent unit. I'd like to see Inogen enhance the smart phone app so that I could change the flow rate and turn the unit on/off from the phone.
