I purchased the Inogen One G5 based on the the product description by the manufacturer. My main concern was the noise level from the unit. Let’s face it any machine designed to create oxygen is going to do just that, so I’d be surprised if it fell short in that respect. However, I specifically looked for a unit that was both small in size and quiet while operating. The description read that it’s very quiet, only 38 decibels which is equivalent to a whisper. NOT the case with this machine. It’s not only loud enough to be heard while trying to sleep, but it’s “pulse function” (how it dispenses air) makes a sound not unlike someone on life support, a sort of hiss and pop that’s very distinct and not at all quiet. It sounds like a sick room in an ICU and is very unsettling.

They sent me one that didn't work right, this 1 I don't trust,I need a walk test by your company,to have 2 batteries,that's what I need, I wouldn't travel with this

i am still getting used to my machine. I think perhaps i had unrealistic expectations for my machine. i am using it when i go for my morning walks. i do okay but still have to stop at times to rest. i guess the real results will be when i take it to colorado and the high altitudes.

Like the machine overall. Design seems bad as the tubing coming out the top always kinks up due to gravity. Been trying for 3 weeks to sync with my phone and nobody seems to know how. I always have to call someone else or they're in a meeting. It apparently doesn't recognize me as the owner. Frustrating.
